  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey Hey! Just wondering if anyone got to attend the Soulfest at Loon Mountain in NH last week?
I went with Charmaine's(back up singer for RSJ) parents as well as some other friends from the camp we worked at this summer. So backstage passes were passed out and we had a blast :) We saw the O.C Supertones,Sarah Kelly,Rebecca St. James obviously, and Audio Adrenaline. After Rebecca's show we walked around for a little bit then hung out in her dressing room for awhile. We made our way to her bus to say bye to her and the band then sat and watched audio adrenaline have a waterfight and duck for cover lol.. they're merch girl through one of the water guns into our van and shut the door lol. It was definately funny.. Anyway it was an awesome time!

Was anyone else there?!

I went to Soulfest!! I just read this post. I had an awesome time there with the Holden Chapel youth group. I saw Supertones, King Pin Wrecking Crew, Pillar, Elijah Wyman, and the incomperable John Reuben, to name a few. My youth leader saw RSJ (he calls her Rebecca Street) and started dancing crazily.. he almost created a mosh pit to RSJ because hewas moved by her singing so much!

I too was at Soul Fest. Didn't see this post until today, like a month and a half late. Haha.
I had such an awesome experience.

There's a thread in the New England section... ummm.... http://www.christianforums.com/t672352 there

You can read my story of my experiences there. It was awesome and I can't wait until next year at Gunstock!
