  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I had $35 dollars once and needed a tire. A used tire was $25.
While I was there I started talking to an elderly woman who was also getting a used tire. She told me she went to Walmart for a tire but it was going to cost her $100 which she didn't have. I looked down at her shoes while we were talking and noticed they had holes in them. The Holy Spirit asked me to buy her tire. I said Lord "I need a tire" His response was, "You have a brand new spare, ask them how much it would be to mount it on your rim"
It was $10. When she went to pay for her tire they told her I already paid for it. When she came over and asked me why I did that I told her God asked me to. She looked up to the sky with tears in her eyes and said "Thank you"

Now that's what I'm talking about! Good job soldier!

Now that's just a tire, just imagine someone who doesn't have food to eat, or clean water to drink, or other needs. Just imagine how much more joyful would they be if you helped them? A lot more than just a 25$ tire.

As Christians we are called to do these things on a common bases, not just throw prayers at the situation and expect it to go away.
We have 2 arms and 2 legs and only 1 mouth.

Ministry doesnt have to be expensive and God will provide the means

Brother Andrew
David Wilkerson
Corrie Ten Boom

to name a couple of people, who achieved amazing things for God, often with little or no money in the banks

I remember one christmas driving home and came across this couple trying to get petrol into their truck. Only had my tithe money which was like $15, however you would have thought I'd given them a million dollars instead of put $15 gas into their truck. Turned out that the wife had just lost her job and the husband had a job interview the next day that he would actually be able to get too.

That is cool! Somehow I doubt Jesus spent a lot of money ministering! He simply "went about doing good"! We can all choose to do good for people, and it doesn't have to cost any money.:)
