That is a battle that can't be won. There isn't much point in trying, thus.
What can be done is show people how bad pornography is, and by convincing an ever greater number, drive internet websites on this to close themselves.

The only thing that can really kill the supply of some service is the lack of demand. If there is a demand, and today there is a huge demand, supply will find a way to meet it.

Nice :D dude

Very, very nice, seeing them both tomorrow with any luck too

But something I want to say (I'm not just braging about how lucky I am :p), is how is this corrupting me? I know a fair number of people who would say I'm immoral for this, I do believe in one thread I was called an 'example of everything wrong with today's society' and that was just for defending porn. But I've never noticed any deleterious effects from any of this, porn, girls, lust, nothing (well except for ignoring some homework, but seriously, two girls!) Now I can understand how excessiive amounts of lust and porn would indeed be harmful, but none of these have seemed to have any impact upon my morality. Excluding sexual morality of course, but frankly I find sexual morality to be unimportant, it's how a treat other people that's important, what difference I make in the world, being as good as I can be, not worrying over every little consensual thing I do.

There will always be sin in this world, that is true. But the demand, and therefore the quantity of pornographic websites, could be very diminished.

Why not? Porn used to be illegal, you know. Ok, the tar and feathering wasn't real serious. I like the idea of hitting them in the pocketbook. Huuuuge fines, with the money going to the poor, perhaps.
Just because you find it offensive doesn't mean it should be banned.

Laws against murder, rape, theft, etc affect you. They are there for you and to protect you from people trying to murder, rape, steal from you.

You shouldn't be forced to look at porn. You have the choice not to look. You don't have the choice to not be murdered. There's a difference.

How does me looking at porn affect you to warrant its illegality?

And slavery used to be legal. Just because we made mistakes in the past, doesn't mean we should remake them now.

How do you get over the "free speech" hurtle in making this illegal?
