In Truth Spoken...
Lift me up,
from this weakening faith.
Which tries to bring me into despair,
tries to bring me down.
Lift me up, Lord!
Keep me close,
when everything seems lonesome.
Which tries to make me feel alone,
tries to isolate me.
Keep me close to you, Lord!
Make me grow,
with everything I go through.
Which is meant to build me up,
breaking me first completely down.
Make me grow more in you, Lord!
Bear much fruit,
as a branch growing forth in the vine.
Which is meant to blossom,
and bearing much good fruit.
Bear much fruit in you, my Lord!
A new creature,
I am in Christ Jesus my Lord.
Which is also my Saviour and King,
whom will come back soon.
A new creature I am in you, my Lord!
A pure bride,
I am seen as before my Lord Jesus Christ.
Which is the bridegroom,
whom loves and cherishes His true bride.
A pure bride I am without any blemishes nor spots seen on me before you, Lord!
A faithful saint,
whom wants to live fully devoted to God.
Still chained to this sinful nature in the flesh,
yet living in hope and in the given promises of God in the Spirit.
A faithful saint trusting in and obeying you, my Lord!
A strong faith,
giving a strong confidence within me.
Which builds up a stronger trust in my Lord,
depending myself on His strenght alone.
A strong faith which relies on you fully, Lord!
A true disciple,
following the Lord Jesus Christ.
Listening to His voice,
and following His lead.
A true disciple of you, my Lord!
A true devotion,
in all adoration and admiration to the Lord my God Almighty.
Which will bring me into true worship,
being done in Spirit and in Truth.
A true devotion given to you, my Lord!
Let me become,
true in everything I do.
That I will be truthful,
as you Lord are the Truth!
Let me become true in all things, Lord!
