Peace in Christ.
There are 2 ways to believe in Christ.
The first group (the “first fruits” of Christ…the house of Jacob….the 144,000) HEARS and believes (without seeing Him). Blessed (happy) are those who believe and have NOT SEEN.
The second group SEES Him and believe.
This group of people are the people of the outside world (the “great multitude”…the clouds of heaven) who will see His life manifested in our mortal flesh (the revealing of the Son of man) and will believe.
Joh 20:29 KJV
(29) Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Again, this is highlighted in John 5:37 : the unbelievers will neither HEAR His voice NOR SEE His shape.
Joh 5:37-38 KJV
(37) And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
They will not retain what they hear (His Word) with their ears and will not believe those whom He sends (not seeing His shape) to them.
(38) And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
Christ the first fruits…those who will HEAR and believe in the Word of Truth…will be made alive. The life of Jesus is made manifest in the mortal flesh of those who will hear and believe.
This is the manifestation of the Son of man (His presence) to this dark world. This is the "light" of life that will shine towards those who are in the outside world who are in deep darkness.
Every "man" in his order.
Those who are Christ’s at His coming…that is, at His presence in us…will then SEE and believe. This is the people of the outside world who will only believe when they see Him shining through us (His presence).
1Co 15:22-23
(22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
(23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming (Parousia= PRESENCE).
John HEARD the number to those (the 144,000.....Christ the first fruits) that were sealed. The sealed HEAR and believe without seeing.
Rev 7:4 KJV
(4) And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Afterward, they that are Christ's at His presence....after the sealing of those who will hear and believe the voice of Christ.
Then, John SAW (“beheld” = eidō = to see) the great multitude.
This great multitude is the “cloud” of people of the outside world who then see the Son of man (His life being made manifest in our mortal flesh) and will believe.
Rev 7:9 KJV
(9) After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
This “great multitude” of the outside people of this world who will SEE and believe are the “clouds of heaven” that will surround the Son of man (surrounding us who are Christ the first fruits.) They will be the cloud of eye witnesses.
The unbelievers of this world will see this and will mourn it.
Mat 24:30 KJV
(30) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
He makes us (the first fruits of Christ) “kings and priests” unto God and His Father. When He appears (the revealing of the life of Jesus in our mortal flesh...the revealing of the Son of man), we appear with Him in glory towards the outside world.
Rev 1:6-7 KJV
(6) And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Then the “clouds” of people are those whom will see Him in us (Christ the first fruits....the kingdom of priests).
Every eye shall "see" Him….even those who pierce Him in their unbelief. All the unbelievers….the kindreds of the earth…will wail because of Him as a “great multitude” …the clouds….of the people of the outside world will SEE and believe in Him
(7) Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
They…the outside people of this world (the eyes of the blind)…will then SEE out of obscurity and out of darkness. They shall see His light shining in us (who will HEAR and believe the words of Scripture as Jesus interprets them for us).
Isa 29:18 KJV
(18) And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
For we shall be the "light" that they will see in the darkness. The "blind"...those who are in deep spiritual darkness...shall SEE His light (in us) out of obscurity.
Isa 60:1-3 KJV
(1) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
(2) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
(3) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
