In His Time

I see God's goodness everyday,
In how He answers prayer.
We should never doubt His word,
Because He's always there.

He may not answer for weeks or months,
Or it just might be today.
We never know but the answer could come,
In the moment we pray!

Sometimes doubt will try to discourage,
Because answers have to wait.
We need to remember our time is not His,
He knows the destined fate.

Our prayers are not always answered,
In the way we might expect.
He may even answer prayers,
In ways we can't detect!

Oh! how I love my Father above,
And as I look around,
I see His sweet love and mercy,
That others through prayer have found.

I see broken hearts mend and,
Hope where there was none.
Smiles where there once were tears,
People healed one by one.

I thank our Father for answered prayer,
And praise His Holy name!
He never forsakes His children,
And always remains the same.

I pray my heart will be pure and sweet,
That worthy I'll always be,
To come into His presence,
And answered prayer I'll see.

God has His own timing, and praise Him greatly for that, as He always knows what is best, and He is in total control. The timing is His alone!

Beautiful.. and so true..

His Way.. His Timing..

God has been impressing this to me lately.. A few weeks ago, He woke me up twice on a Saturday night.. saying Take up your cross & follow me..

Sunday morning befor church, I turn on my PS and open up E-Sword.. bible software.. It is set to display a random verse.. what pops up??

(DRB) Then Jesus said to his disciples: If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

I'm sitting at my PC.. crying.. and hubby wants to know what's the matter...

God is so good.. and I thank Him for His Word.. and His confirmations..

This forum is a very humbling and challenging place to be, thank you all for sharing. Very inspirational ... makes me realise how poor a Christian I am and how far I have to travel on my personal spiritual road

We all are still growing in our spiritual walk AlteWolf. A man in my church said he once asked our oldest member[a wonderful Christian example] before he died if he ever reached a point he thought he was "finished" and didn't need to grow anymore,and he was told "no, not if you still care". As long as we love Jesus our love for Him continues to grow the better we get to know Him,and He just continues to amaze us!
