Ah, I see.

I assume you were baptized by an orthodox Lutheran pastor who baptized you in the name of the Holy Trinity?

I was baptized in on the premises of HerChurch in San Francisco, but then it was known as Ebenezer Lutheran Church.

I feel a kinship to you because the church in which I was baptized is a UMC parish that had a good evangelical pastor a few years ago, but he was fired by the liberal bishop shortly before they seized control of the UMC last summer, and replaced by a Lesbian, and I don’t feel comfortable and haven’t felt comfortable going to the church where I was baptized and first had communion for a number of years.

In your case, well, it would be even worse for me if I had been baptized at Ebenezer Lutheran because as I see it that church is being stolen from the genuine Lutherans of San Francisco, of whom there are some, who would be praying there, by this non-Christian woman who the bishop allows to “pastor” what should be a church dedicated to preaching Christ Crucified and not Mother Goddess worship.

As an infant and before the explosive rebellion of San Francisco in the 1970's.

Out of curiosity do you know any people who speak the traditional San Francisco accent that used to be commonly spoken among the middle class ordinary people of the city who were progressively driven out in the wake of that 1970s rebellion?

This slogan is quite superficial.

For individual Christians: The Nicene Creed is a sufficient norm for fellowship.
For Christian Denominations: Confessional documents should be the sufficient norm for pulpit and altar fellowship.

I would assume that neither of you would object to liturgical material constituting a substantial part of the confessional documents on the basis of lex orandi, lex credendi? Because in the case of Eastern and Oriental Orthodoxy, what we believe is encoded into the liturgy, although in the case of the Ecumenical Councils it can be faster to access the information about what the council decided by reading its Acts than to read the hymns for Matins on the feast celebrating the Fathers of that particular council, where one is otherwise most likely going to find the same material, albeit expressed more poetically.*

The Syriac Orthodox also have a Shorter Catechism structured much like Luther’s’ Shorter Catechism or the Shorter Catechism in the Anglican Book of Prayer.*

* In the case of Anglicanism, historically, the BCP was the main confessional document, in that it contained all other confessional material, such as the 39 Articles but since different Anglican churches now use different version of the BCP and some churches like the Episcopal Church USA and the Continuing Anglo Catholics in the US no longer regard the 39 Articles as binding, but rather merely as historical, which in both cases is due to a more high church mentality, it has resulted in the Anglican liturgy being less effective as a guide for what Anglicans believe. However, insofar as the services of the BCP are much less detailed or elaborate than Orthodox services with fewer specifications regarding the hymns to be sung, et cetera, the Book of Common Prayer was never able to provide as much doctrinal guidance as the Orthodox liturgical texts provide, or likewise as is provided by the Roman Missal and Breviary or Liturgy of the Hours as it has been called since 1969.

I do not fully understand why Calvinism continues to exist.

The list in the original post is not a studied serious evaluation of possible candidates for "essential" doctrine, however it does represent a number of things tat I have heard were important or essential within CF.
