AR,

I’ve read several books about the Titanic. The company never went out of business. Its an interesting concept. But I wouldn’t go. Plus there’s historical events around the world that allow you to dress in period garb and turn back the clock.

Yours in His Service,

~Bella

I thought I read other places about this....all things that make for a safer ship will be upgraded....hull structures, propeller systems and a high tech bridge...no need to have antiquated technology with those things....but people basically will be on the new Titanic. They might want to wait until the Covid thing is over though....wouldn't want to see those on board quarantined and never able to get off the ship.

It is a bad time to be launching a new passenger ship. And this ship will not be an exact replica of Titanic. She will essentially be a modern ship that looks like Tiranic. I would love to sail on her sometime.

The sad thing is that if Titanic had hit the iceberg head on she probably would have survived.

Really? What makes you say that?

Lol no I meant about running into the iceberg head on.
Titanic was built to survive with four watertight compartments breached. The reason it sank was because it tried to go around the iceberg and scraped five compartments. If she had hit head-on probably two or three compartments would have breached. She would have been badly damaged but she probably would have survived. Even if she would have sunk, because there were construction flaws, shevwould have done so more slowly, giving rescue ships time to arrive. Who knows, Jenny the Titanic cat and her kittens might have been saved. They all went down with the ship.

Hmm,.. funnily enough I never heard of Jenny. Except I know that her phone number. :D
Some reports say that Jenny carried her kittens off the ship before Titanic sailed from Southampton. I could see that--cats are very intuitive. Others say that she and the kittens went down with the ship. If they were on the ship, it is too bad that someone didn't put them in a lifeboat. There would have been plenty of room as some of the first lifeboats launched were only half full.
