"To grow as a Christian it is important to:
1. Read your Bible daily.
2. Seek out people who believe in prayer and pray daily.
3. Gather with fellow Christians as often as possible.
4. Go to a church where Christians who live by the Scriptures.
5. Be sure that your closet friends are those who make their goal in this life that of meeting Jesus Christ around the throne of God in the next. "

Although it is important to go to church, I feel that being a christian comes from within.I consider myself a christian even if I don't go to church...

you MUST go to church.... you must worship god by going to church and doing worship there..
May I ask, purely out of curiosity, exactly what part of worship can you perform in church but not in any other place? Is it not possible to worship God completely at home? If not, why not?

Dear MoreCoffee. To go to church is to meet other Christians, to teach and learn more of our Lord, AND to let the world see that there is a difference between the men and women God wants us to be, and the world at large. We are the Only representatives God has on this Earth, we are sinners, But we are trying to become as God wants us to be: people made in God`s image. I say this with love, MoreCoffee. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.
