This is not the right thing to do as a Christian. They should be spirititually cared for and be prayed for every day. IMO, it's our responsibility to guide them to the right path again.

I think we do need to find an alternative for fuel - all types of fuel too - Gas and Diesel are far too expensive for the average household and enviromentially it would be an advantage to look for other fuel sources.

IMO, I think its a combination of things. I think first and foremost it is a sign of the times. People have everything they need in our western culture and so they dont need God (so they think). Combine that with a lukewarm church who is afraid to preach the whole Gospel and there ya go.

I know this has been answered but I have an opinion on this one. I think it's wrong. First, the world's economy is balanced on the oil market. What's going to happen to the world economy if we stop using oil? I think it would be disasterous. Second, I think that food should go to feed people. If you're using a crop set aside for fuel wouldn't it be better and morally right that that food go to feed the hungry? It's like those ridiculous tomato fights in Italy. Instead of trashing food like that it should go to better someone's life. That's MO.

I have a friend in the Army who says that Bin Laden was killed in 2002. He also says that the tapes that air are just old ones that they have a stockpile of, that they bring them out at key times when the government needs to make America afraid of him. He said if you notice, that you never hear his voice, but always that of a translator. If this is true, that's very creepy in my opinion.

What do you think about NASA? Is it important or a waste of money?

My understanding is that many modern conveniences came about through NASA......like Velcro, and energy bars! So it's not a complete waste. But still I'm one of those who thinks that feeding human beings is more important than expenseive technological toys.

Only my opinion... generally, televangelists are building their own kingdoms, and living like kings as they 'fleece' the unsuspecting who
continue to support them. Some may start out with pure motives... but power can corrupt if the 'flesh' is given to the praise of men, and to greed. To everything there is the exception, and not all are like this... but most are, IMO.

I'm uncomfortable with that idea. I'm not sure it's a good idea. Women generally aren't as...steely reserved as men. Some aren't. I couldn't see a woman effectively leading the country during a 9-11 or in a time of war. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, and wrong but that's how I feel.

What do you think about the Saudi Arabian woman who was gang raped by 7 men and is convicted to 200 lashes and 6 months in prison

No that's okay. I'm glad every day of my life that I was born here, especially when I hear about stories like that. My sister told me that yesterday and I was fuming for hours.

I don't have an opinion on that because I don't believe there are any women who feel that way. (And I know you're not saying that about me just because I happen to be...kind of old fashioned. But if that's how you feel, that's fine because it's not true. I'll still like you anyway )

Hmmm...maybe. Sounds like it could be, but didn't they do that in the OT? I don't know. Someone else can weigh in on this too, but I think it's one of those iffy things that should be handled carfully.

After the HS fell we are to be guided for decision making by Him not casting lots or Quijia boards or crystal balls...(IMO)
