I think the magic number of posts and likes is around 5? I liked a few of your posts...I think if you post a few more times and someone likes then, the restriction should be removed.

This is my 14th post and I still can't post in Christian Apologetics. I think the guy who has the Admin badge is right. He says that if you're below a certain age (he didn't specify), there are limits on posting. But he says changing the date of birth is not allowed. But actually, who's to know? And it's not really a lie if you lie to a machine. All I want is to be able to participate in the theology section and the Christian apologetics section. I don't want to play the numbers game in the teens section all the time; there are more important things in the world than play a numbers game between boys and girls and see who wins. It's pointless if I can't discuss theology in a Christian Forum just because of someone's perception of what a younger person is allowed to do.

Hi; good to see you; God bless His Word to you.
Thanks! Sadly, I still can't post in the Outreach section. I think that's one area I'm not allowed to post in because of my age. Which is very sad because I would have been able to contribute meaningfully to the discussions there which are very interesting. What are the rules? How old must a person be in order to chat with non-Christians in the Outreach section?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the welcome and greetings. May the Lord bless you all too.

It's now my 5th day since I first registered with CF and after having written 84 posts, I think I can re-introduce myself. I think the Lord has a purpose for me here. I have been reading very widely during the school holidays theology books and some of them are extremely profound. But it's a bad excuse for a person to say he's too young to read these books or the language is too difficult because we all have access to a good dictionary and the more you read them, the more new words you learn and the more you'll sound mature and cool. I think that's why everyone thinks I'm much older than I am.

But I also notice that many people in CF don't like me because I present to them the unvarnished knowledge that I have acquired through my readings. I haven't yet learnt how to be politically correct but I want to be really honest and sometimes when you are politically correct, you can't be totally honest.

I have discovered that many Christians when confronted with a biblical verse won't read it as it is. They will read it through their lenses which are coated and encrusted with their own preconceived notions to the extent that they refuse to admit that the verse actually says what it does. I think I have fewer preconceived notions than many others and even if I do, my preconceived notions aren't so entrenched yet because whatever notions I have are pretty new and recent and I'm willing to let them change. This is different from those who have had their preconceived notions for many years, some even decades, and getting them to see a fresh light is anathema to them. It's for this reason that some have dismissed my thoughts without giving any consideration to what I have to say and some have hinted that I am an atheist which is untrue and false.

I have read a wide range of scholars from different traditions and I will continue to give input in CF. But of course however much I have read, it's still very little because I need to devote years to reading and not just during a couple of school holidays. But whenever I state my views, I hope people won't be angry if they disagree. They can always say why they disagree. And I can always rebut by bringing in more biblical verses so there should be no angry moments. The truth must always prevail so if I'm wrong, it can be shown conclusively that I'm wrong with references to the Bible of course and if I'm right, those biblical verses that I've quoted should make them at least think about them.

I want to thank the person who started CF (don't know who he is) because it's a great ministry and I want to thank all the moderators and admin for the work they have put in and the time they have spent on this forum.

May our Lord, the Beginner and Finisher of our faith, bless all of you and may the name of Christ be always glorified.

Cheers,

StTruth
