Um........ ya. I SO know this one! I had a shoddy dentist too, nearly all his work was bad.
Isn't that horrible? It infuriates me.

What ticks me off the most, we have a choice of 2 dental plans with the State. The one I have these dentist is the only one I can see. So I'm going outside of my plan. I'm quitting the dental coverage. Why pay if you don't use it.

Well it makes sense to me - I wouldn't pay if didn't use it either - if you can "piece the work out" and go once every few months, & make payments... that might be the best route, at least it will get done correcty the first time.

As I understand dental details, it's the shoddy work that's cheaper/free on ins. that goes bad and costs you DOUBLE & triple when you end up needing root canals & crowns!
What's the point, just get it done right the first time & pay the $$ for it (& PRAY it was done right).
eek.
I so know this dilema; and I'm nearly positive that there are millions of people in this same predicament. Alot of people cant' even afford the dentist. Sometimes we can't either right now.
:sigh: :help:

I know we can't afford it either. I'll get in detail what needs to be re-done today  I hate to see that but it needs doing.

Maybe you should go to the library and get two books:
"how to perform dentistry"
"how to sue your dentist"

Bring it with you and ask him/her if they are familiar with either of those books :)
Hahahahaaaa...you are funny.

I'm not going to the shoddy one today. I don't think I ever will again. These new folks are great and great to me.
