I see in your profile that you are able to speak very plain and I for one cannot understand much of what you said here and so I would like to ask you if you want help to put in words that I would be able to understand. I do not understand your questions or your comment --I understand your icon that says help, angry, sigh, crying and the frown and that is about all I understand. I am sure it would help more than you and me if you could explain your abbreviations a little better. Thank you.

it sounds to me like you are on a roller coaster. that's not a good thing. What's causing your depression? What do you think about that makes you depressed. Depression really is nothing but a series of bad thoughts.

(Philippins 4:8) Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, what ever is lovely, whatever is part of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

Please share with us what it is so you don't have to ride Satans roller coaster of sorrow any longer. In the meantime trust God and think positive thoughts. Take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ.

aawww my little leigh!

let all your family troubles rest and enjoy the cousins and your holiday break. just think, your confrimation is soon, and you have your new youth group friends for support. i know being a teenager is tough. especially when your parents fight and aren't going to church with you. and you are just now starting in church and lessons to help you know what to do with your feelings. everything will be ok. so enjoy the holidays and perhaps you can make that nurse a gift?

Yes depression is a horrible thing, and so is being a teenager, being depressed and going through family problems, on top of the stresses of high school and peer pressure.
It hasn't been that many years ago that I was there (I am 22). My parents split up when I was 12. It was a horrible experience. But through it all, I have come trust Christ with my pain. I give it all up to him and he does take care of it.
I will pray for you, that God sends you wonderful blessings this holiday season. I'm sure no matter how bad your situation is, it is no bigger than God. Remember that nothing is bigger than Him. He will take away all of your pain and fears.
I will also pray that your family begins to come to church again. That's very important. I hope you know that God loves you! That's so important when you are depressed. I am currently going through counseling for depression myself and I have realized that no matter who I talk to about my problems, no one can compare with the peace I receive from Jesus. He takes it all away. Hang in there girl, God Bless you and have a very Merry Christmas!
