I'm becoming more Jewish than Christian...am I falling into a strong delusion???????

For several months now I have known that there is something terribly wrong with my thinking...the writing that I quote below may be the best explanation for what has happened to me that I have ever ran into...The link leads you into the entire writing....The Hordes of Hell Are Marching which was an incredible dream/vision given to Mr. Rick Joyner back in 1995...

Have I fallen into strong delusions? I think that I have but the delusions that I am into are so strong that I almost put them above the very words of YAHUSHUA/Jesus...I actually prefer many of the ideas that I have read in Chassidic or Orthodox Jewish websites over the teachings of YAHUSHUA/Jesus....I know that I desperately need prayer....yet I can pretty much explain step by step exactly what has happened to me...

I warn you....unless you feel pretty strong in your faith and feel that you are being led to pray for and encourage me....maybe you shouldn't even read any further in this thread than this segment from Mr. Rick Joyner....

The Power of Pride

I was thinking how descending the mountain was teaching me as much as climbing it had, when noise from the battlefield drew
my attention. By now there were thousands of the mighty warriors who had crossed the plain to attack the remnant of the
enemy horde. The enemy was fleeing in all directions, except for the one division, Pride. Completely undetected, it had
marched right up to the rear of the advancing warriors, and was about to release a hail of arrows. It was then that I noticed the
mighty warriors had not armor on their backsides-they were totally exposed and vulnerable to what was about to hit them.

Wisdom then remarked, "You have taught that there was no armor for the backside, which meant that you were vulnerable if
you fan from the enemy. However, you never saw how it made you vulnerable if you advanced in pride."

I could only nod my acknowledgment. It was too late to do anything, and it was unbearable to watch, but Wisdom said that I
must. To my amazement, when the arrows of pride struck the warriors they did not even notice. However, the enemy kept
shooting. The warriors were bleeding and getting weaker fast but would not acknowledge it. Soon they were too weak to hold
up their shields and swords, and cast them down, declaring that they did not need them anymore. Then they started taking off
their armor, saying it was not needed anymore either.

Then another enemy division appeared and moved up swiftly. It was called Strong Delusion. They released a hail of arrows that all hit their mark. I then watched as just a few of the demons of delusion led off this once great army of glorious warriors. They
were taken to different prison camps, each named after a different doctrine of demons. I was astounded at how this great
company of the righteous had been so utterly defeated, and they still did not even know what had hit them. "How could those
who were so strong, who have been all the way to the top of the mountain, who have seen the Lord as they have, be so
vulnerable?" I blurted out.

"Pride is the hardest enemy to see, and it always sneaks up behind you," Wisdom lamented. "In some ways, those who have
been to the greatest heights are in the greatest danger of falling. You must always remember that in this life you can fall at any
time from any level. 'Take heed when you think you stand, lest you fall,' When you think you are the least vulnerable to falling is
in fact when you are the most vulnerable. Most men fall right after a great victory."

By my studies, and over a period of time, I have come to the conclusion that Judaism changed some of their expectations of what they expect in a Messiah, as an answer to our belief that Yeshua is the Messiah. And it can also be said that prophecies often get fulfilled in ways other than what is expected. Judaism does contain a boat load of wisdom that is in their writings, but so does any (or most) religions. And they may be more accurate in some of their opinions than Christianity, however that does not negate the fact that Yeshua has set up his kingdom. If you have any question regarding the opposing beliefs, you need to ask, as I did early on.
One thing that bothered me about Judaism is that to think for ones self (if it is contrary to Judaism) is somewhat discouraged. They believe that what the Sages and Rabbi's say is in cement, and cannot be challenged. Much like the Roman Catholics do.
The Rambam said it and that settles it. The Rebbi declares and that is that.
Again, if there are any questions, ask, read, do your research.
It made me a stronger believer, and a different believer.

IF fear is trying to scare you away from Messiainic understanding of the the scriptures then it is not of God, he draws us to himself as we place our trust (faith) in the Father in Heaven.

I used to listen to lot's of what Rick Joyner said but now I woul dnot bother to take much of what that defacto Roman Catholic has to say.
He is actually being used to lead many astray.
I did not come to this very lightly I was involved witht he prophetic movement for 7 years.

I believe that there are statements in this wonderful prophecy 71...that were designed to make us Christians rather angry... go through a time of cognitive dissonance...and even begin to argue with YAHUSHUA/Jesus and ABBA FATHER YHWH over His plan....

I have read that Rosh Ha Shanah/The Festival of Blowing of Trumpets...will be fulfilled one of these nights when YAHUSHUA will come and gather up His Bride...His church...and He will take them out of this earth just before the Great Tribulation begins full throttle....This makes tremendous sense to me as the ultimate fulfillment of Rosh Ha Shanah...One of the reasons that was given to Rev Elisabeth Elijah Nikomia for YAHUSHUA taking this action is that He is not a wife beater....I love it....What an excellent reason to reward His Church...those with oil in their lamps...To prove for all time that indeed YAHUSHUA truly does reward those who are faithful to Him...

But I believe that YAHUSHUA Ha Mashiach....wants a Bride who will argue with Him...who will intercede for others....who will convince Him to make judgments on behalf of those left behind...that will change everything...I believe that YAHUSHUA wants a Bride who is not scared of Him...who will discuss the deepest subjects with Him and be instrumental in talking Him into taking actions....that He had actually planned anyway...but He wants us to share in the sense of accomplishment of changing the way in which the entire universe is ran....

For the moment I have to believe that very real higher space-time dimensional prison environments do indeed exist that would remind us greatly of what was experienced by the Rich Man in the parable of Luke 16:20-31...but I believe that YAHUSHUA/Jesus has a plan that will ultimately fulfill the prophecy...."not a single Jew of all times will be lost."

Yes...exactly....and back in 1990 I got so angry with The Eternal and with YAHUSHUA/Jesus over the questions of hell and purgutory....that I asked ABBA FATHER YHWH if He needed a goat for Azazel...to fulfill some sort of modern Yom Kippur event...that perhaps would shed further light on the full plan of YHWH that perhaps even YAHUSHUA/Jesus had not yet explained to us clearly/plainly....

This thread over on my ezboard goes into detail as best as I can about all the weird stuff that I experienced after making that request....I have to warn you...over a ten year period in total I ended up spending about a month in a psychiatric ward...

I believe that my weird story can help Jews and Christians understand each other much better....but my strange testimony is certainly not everybody's cup of tea....I believe that the upcoming few weeks are critical....If my understanding of some obscure Jewish prophecies is even one fifth correct....the relationship between Jews and Christians...between Judaism and Christianity will be altered forever....

I believe that the future can be totally altered...but not without fervent prayer and an outpouring of the Ruach Ha Kodesh/Holy Spirit....I believe that the calamities could be postponed for forty years...much like the destruction of Nineveh was delayed due to the temporary repentance of the King and ordinary citizens of Nineveh...

Back around 1993 I went to a practicioner of hypnotic regression because I was determined to find out about past life regression under hypnosis...I could not be hypnotized and I never went to another hypnotherapist again....but it is very intriguing that Ms. Young told me that she saw the Vatican behind me as she was attempting to hypnotize me...For the record I believe that generally hypnosis is a mistake and can open doors for the dark side of the force...

1. The ONLY thing that ABBA has placed above His name is His WORD! (Psalms 138:2)
2. That we can do NOTHING, are nothing, will be counted for nothing lest we abide in Yeshua. (John 15) (we'll leave the spelling for another day)
3. The battle the Mr Joyner describes here is NOT the one that is described in scripture. See Revelation 1:16, 2:16, 19:15 and 19:21. There Yeshua slays them with the sharp two edged sword the comes from HIS mouth. Notice that HE does all the fighting for us. We are tested here on earth, but the fighting for our souls is done by HIM!
4. His talmidim are called to be witnesses unto HIM (Acts 1:8). We are to witness to HIM the unrighteousness of this world and PLACE IT UPON HIS ALTAR. NOT FIGHT THE BATTLE OURSELVES. IT IS FALSE PRIDE THAT LEADS US TO THE BATTLE! THE BATTLE IS HIS!!! Baruch HaShem!
5. Some people that recieve visions do not understand that the vision is for them. Unless the Father distinctly instructs you to deliver your vision to others, it is for the recipient (Job 33). Revelations are yours, dreams are yours and visions are yours. The messages given to you by G-d has to do with you and your walk!! Now, taking that information, what do you think the Father is telling Mr. Joyner? Hmmm...
6. The concept of grace is seen in every patriarch and every prophet in the scriptures because they all sinned. Do you get this? Murderers, liars, thieves, adulterers, prideful and disobediant children all get saved because they repented. Because they understood that when G-d spoke to them it was for them and they obediantly responded to His instruction!

You said it all in your first sentence. The Spirit of Truth has reveiled this to you. Do not let go of this truth. Do not be seduced by the doctrines of demons. They are just looking for a way to get in.

Abide in Yeshua and His truth. Put down these things and get back into His word. Pray and He will guard your heart and mind. I will pray for you my dear one, that you should not be sifted by the evil one. Perhaps it is time that you depart from the Internet until the Spirit strengthens you in His word and to His truth. Pray about it.

Question: I have read Rick Joyner's book "The Vision"... Who can give me info on this guy? Some of you seem to not think highly of him. Why? (I have absolutely NO info about the man- I've just read that one book.)

Also- the lady mentioned on page 1 of this thread... (if I go back there to check I think I'll lose what I've written here)... who is she & what are her beliefs... and how is she connected (if so) to Rick Joyner???

It is extremely intriguing that you mention this because I feel that at this time I have a duty to attempt to repay The Roman Catholic Church for what she has done for me since I was a child. When I was four years old I was hospitalized with bleeding ulsers...when I was fourteen I was hospitalized with rheumatoid arthritis...the sisters at St. Martha's hospital were incredible...

Having taken a couple of years of Business Administration at St. F. X. University back in 1979 - '83...I ended up with a lot of questions about the world economy...It was a publication from a Catholic organization that actually answered my questions...Were it not for ideas gleaned from Michael Journal that I've been reading off and on since 1994...I would probably never have taken a run at politics last October....I actually feel that it is my responsibility to repay what was given to me...because the primary mistake that the writers at Michael are making in my opinion...is that instead of worrying about trying to reform the governments of nations...they really should be lobbying to get the Vatican itself to come out with its own Vatican Currency Unit....The Vatican is in the perfect position to greatly help the poor of this world if they would take advantage of the fact that they already have their own state....their own Vatican Bank...and they have one billion followers....most of whom are very poor and desperately in need of organization.

I lived for a year and seven months in Quito, Ecuador, my wife is from there, and having seen the level of poverty that exists in a third world nation for about 70 percent of the people...ofcourse you will always feel that you've got to at least try to do something about it? Well....it is becoming more and more clear that it may well be my job to attempt to warn the Catholic Church about some major changes that they desperately need to make if the coming period of persecution and warfare is to be delayed....I have made so many foolish decisions in my past that I do not feel one little bit superior to anybody...from any religion...but of course I am worried that the Vatican could again use power, wealth and influence for tremendous destruction....

I believe that we are living in a very different world and that the majority of Catholics are basically more open minded...curious...and perhaps even less power hungry than Protestants or Messianic Jews...but the level of control by certain less than altruistic groups within the R.C. organization...gives me pause to consider, seek counsel and pray further...before explaining how the entire world economy can be altered practically overnight through better understanding of the big picture....

There is also this idea that has been kicking around in my head that Roman Catholic teachings cannot even begin to be properly understood without a good background in Judaism and Messianic Judaism...there is an ancient Catholic prophecy...that I was told is written up in the eighth century edition of the Catholic Encyclopaedia...article entitled The Antichrist... (I think)...that in the end of days...Christ would come first and things would be going wonderful...then after perhaps seven years...the anti-christ would come...throw Christ into hell...and the anti-Christ would reign over the earth for one thousand years...during which time the veneration of Mary would essentially cease from the earth...everybody would pretty much start observing the Jewish Sabbaths and Holy Days...(no wonder the Roman Catholic Church was a leader in Anti-Semitic activity throughout the centuries)....but this is a massive subject and this prophecy may fit surprisingly well with the Two Messiah theory popular within Judaism....

My fear was that the OP was starting to drift into the Judaism that teaches Yeshua is not Messiah.
Now we are talking about false prophets, Catholics, and feeding the world based on a Catholic (that has numbers dwindling) economy.
And maybe a couple of other things that escaped my attention.

Excellent points...Yes...I can do absolutely nothing and could not even seriously consider being any sort of clean sacrifice for Azazel...or any other goats for that matter....were it not for the fact that I am covered by the blood of YAHUSHUA/Jesus...

What scares me is that I am wondering if ABBA FATHER YHWH and YAHUSHUA...have intentionally put riddles...dark sayings of the wise....UNPLAIN, confusing statements all through scripture....as sort of an IQ test....or perhaps altruism quotient test...especially for those of us who are here in the latter days????

I am wondering...if indeed there truly is a horrible hellfire environment down there somewhere...and if indeed there really are people in it...then perhaps just as the whole universe changed at the fulfillment of Passover by YAHUSHUA, and even though YAHUSHUA truly also fulfilled Yom Kippur...still...Since all judgment is committed to the Son...He certainly has the option to up the ante in these latter days if a willing goat for Azazel..and willing goat for the LORD...do happen to show up...
Certainly I have good reason to doubt that Barabbas...had ever willingly requested of the Eternal that he personally somehow fulfill the goat for Azazel mentioned in Leviticus 16?

I agree that YAHUSHUA/Jesus and ABBA FATHER are the ones really fighting this battle...but it does say...greater things than these shall you do...the type of fighting that Mr. Joyner is talking about is shooting arrows of truth or hope...from a high mountain...this could be an analogy to writing ideas about the plan of YHWH into this computer and voila...the ideas go all over the world...and can certainly have a positive effect on many people....I am sure that Mr. Joyner did not mean that Christians were to take up literal bows and arrows...When Mr. Joyner mentions sticking his sword into the ledge on the mountain..and tying himself to his sword so that he would not fall off the ledge...obviously this is an analogy to being rooted in the Word....For my part I regarded this dream/vision given to Mr. Joyner as one of the most inspiring that I have ever read....

Yes...some visions and dreams are meant to be kept to ourselves...In an ancient book called the Testimony of the Patriarchs, Levi...the son of Jacob contrasts how he had been shown visions comparable to those given to Joseph but he wisely keeps these visions to himself and tells nobody....I think personally that the Rick Joyner dream was meant to be shared with us for our benefit...

Abide in Yeshua and His truth. Put down these things and get back into His word. Pray and He will guard your heart and mind. Good points..I actually took close to a months away from the net because I was wondering if my writings were perhaps doing more harm than good...Thank you immensely for your prayers Talmidim...when this is all over I am pretty sure that I am going to find out that the only reason that I am even alive today is because of fervent prayers offered up by my friends, my wife, and my family....

My fear was that the OP was starting to drift into the Judaism that teaches Yeshua is not Messiah.
Now we are talking about false prophets, Catholics, and feeding the world based on a Catholic (that has numbers dwindling) economy.
And maybe a couple of other things that escaped my attention.

Personally....I have no doubts about YAHUSHUA/Jesus certainly being our Messiah...My confusion, concern, fear is that perhaps all of us may have more of an important role to play at this time than we might have imagined....If so how can we really tell the guidance of YAHUSHUA and YHWH from the enticing of fallen angels???

One fascinating aspect of the Rick Joyner visions are the comments about how the saints and angels at the throne have their attention focused on this earth...

Then, with a distant look in his eyes, he added, "Everyone in heaven is now in this room to watch His great mystery unfold, and
to watch those of you who will fight the last battle."

My eyes were so fixed on the glory of the Lord that I had walked a long time before I noticed that I was passing multitudes of
people who were standing in ranks to my left (There were just as many to my right but they were so far away that I did not
notice them until I reached the throne). As I looked at them I had to stop. They were dazzling, more regal than anyone I had
ever seen. Their countenance was captivating. Never had such peace and confidence graced a human face. Each one was
beautiful beyond any earthly comparison. As I turned toward those who were close to me they bowed in a greeting as if they
knew me.

"How is it that you know me?" I asked, surprised at my own boldness to ask such a question of them.

"You are one of the saints who is fighting in the last battle," a man close by responded. "Everyone here knows you, and all of
those who are now fighting on the earth. We are the saints who have served the Lord in the generations before you. We are the great cloud of witnesses who have been given the right to behold the last battle. We know all of you, and we see all that you
do."

As I approached the Judgment Seat of Christ, those in the highest ranks were also sitting on thrones that were all a part of His
throne. Even the least of these thrones was more glorious than any earthly throne many times over. Some of these were rulers
over cities on earth who would soon take their place. Others were rulers over the affairs of heaven, and others over the affairs
of the physical creation, such as star systems and galaxies. However, it was apparent that those who were given authority over
cities were esteemed above those who had even been given authority over galaxies. The value of a single child was more than a galaxy of stars, because the Holy Spirit dwelt in men, and the Lord had chosen men as His eternal dwelling place. In the
presence of His glory the whole earth seemed as insignificant as a speck of dust, and yet was so infinitely esteemed that the
attention of the whole host of heaven was upon it.

Tate4242... I thank the Lord that He did not answer your prayers. I also have been deeply convicted to study and understand the fall feasts and especially the Day of Atonement in which you will find the two scapegoats that are brought to the teabernacle doors. I came to some understanding that I can share with you as I am in the midst of writting a book that covers what I have come to understand to this date.
