Praise God that I am alive today. I have bipolar disorder and have been plagued with suicidal thoughts all my adult life. The past two weekends I've struggled through suicidal episodes. My life is never in real jeopardy... but the drama seems real at the time. The last episode was really intense. I'm thankful that I am alive.

He may not always save me from other people... but he always saves me from myself.

I know where you are coming from. I've been through episodes like you have experienced. I thank the Lord you are here at Christian Forums where you can recieve support. I pray you have Christian Fellowship and support in your life. I remember my mother praying the Psalms over me and crying for me.

I will pray for you, and may the Lord be the rock you can hold onto and make you stable. May the devil cease to attack you when you are weak. Remember how worthy you are-- you are a child of God!

(I hope none of what I have said offends you. I remember my mother taking me to Christian Women talks, and twice the topic was of women who were 'miraculously' healed of their emotional struggles and depression by just kneeling down and praying. I felt so angry that God would heal them like that-- I felt like they were saying I wasn't a good Christian because I didn't pray hard enough or trust God more. I still struggle, but I'm glad that anger is gone.)
