  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

my work week officially starts on saturday
it ends on wednesday.

so, what is monday to everyone else, is, for me, wednesday.

honestly though, i would rather it be a normal work week (monday-friday instead of saturday-wednesday). it takes away a LOT of fellowship time from friends

i like to be around people... i like to spend time with friends, be with friends, help others in need, and be able to have decent fellowship with others.

i havent had that in over a month. i havent seen my friends in over a month. i havent heard from them in over a month. i havent had quality time with anyone for over a month... i would gladly give up thursday and friday in exchange for saturday and sunday so i can see a friend i havent seen in forever, give them a bear hug, and tell them how much ive missed them... and in exchange, i would love to go back to church again on sunday, and actually participate in the praise and worship service, instead of go to some office, and put chairs into a storage room

IJWTA that turning down a job because the person going through the applications blatantly didn't put as much effort into reading them as you did into filling them out is perfectly justifiable, especially when they call you Mr in the e-mail, ring you up and ask to speak to Mr Z and then send another e-mail which was forwarded onto someone else where you are referred to as "this guy could be useful for our education department, but he'd have to stay offsite as he can't share with the girls in the house".
