  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS-I have lost almost 10 pounds in a month. Grant it, my work load has increased by 10 fold so I'm essentially exercising and lifting weight 6 days a week for the passed month to month and a half with only small changes in my diet(which shows how much of a pig I'm not) and beer drinking intake(which shows how much of an alcoholic I am not).

Woot woot...still looking good as I did before tho.

I'm glad you have come to this realisation, Vicky! What we put into our bodies has a tremendous effect on the way we feel.

I've thought for sometime of creating a "checklist" to go through when I'm not feeling right - a food habit checklist, and a spiritual checklist, because it isn't all food and it isn't all spiritual, sometimes it's one or the other, and sometimes it's both! The checklist would be a reminder if I slipped into a bad habit that over time became a subconcious behaviour that I have "forgotten about" - to bring it to my consciousness so I can address the real problem.

Oh yes...IAWTS that I have finally heard something of this Lady Gaga. I was in a store when the radio started blaring it. My ears have finally stopped bleeding. I think it was called..."Alejandro"...? I dunno....
