  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The press has been making a big deal about a "stink bug" infestation in the Mid Atlantic region the last few weeks. Earlier today I was discussing it with friends in a bar. I remarked that I have not seen one this year. Last year, when I was in New England, I saw tons of them. So then I got home and of course there was one in my apartment. God help me, what am I going to do in Africa????

IJWTS ditto, notwithstanding that I have taken entirely too much DayQuil, worked 10 hours today, and ended up being moved within the company today also.

Going to TN tomorrow to meet a friend I've known online for I wanna say 8 years ,we've never meet in person yet .I'm quite excited but getting nervous about flying ,the initial meeting what if we don't get along , like me etc. Also I am going alone. BTW no its not a guy

IJWTS for those of you who like or can tolerate flying Arizona is quite nice in the winter!

IAJWTS have fun Jess! It's always nerve-wracking no matter if you're flying off to meet the first internet person you've met or the thousandth (and my numbers are probably in the thousands by now)!
