  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If your looking for a nice break.

I recommend Dublin. Typing this whilst sitting at he Porterhouse bar Dublin, on the second day of a 3 night break in this wonderful city.

Just been to visit the Chester Beatty library, and an excellent exhibition on religion, and tomorrow looking forward to seeing the Book of Kells.

If you are ever in Dublin I well recommend booking a ‘free’ guided tour of Dublin(give generously) just google it.

I recommend spelling the contraction as "you're"

I also like Dublin.

Well, if the purpose of a contraction is to aid the lazy, wouldn't "u'r" be even better?

I've never been to Dublin. I have, however, been to Madrid (Iowa) and Havanna (Illinois).

But not Birmingham, Alabama?

What kind of crazy talk is that? Of course not! I went to the real Birmingham in the UK ... wow, that was almost 30 years ago. I need to get out more.

... Isn't that a crazy coincidence that you picked that example?

[more random thoughts] More craziness. During that same youthful exuberance 30 years ago I visited Neuschwanstein Castle. Then I had kids. My son lives in Florida now, and when I visited him this past spring we went to (wait for it) yep ... Disney to see the real castle which inspired Neuschwanstein (cough).

Very sad.
