If you didn't belong to a Methodist Church or the Church of the Nazarene, where do you think you would best belong?

I can relate as I have a similar struggle. In my heart and mind, I am looking for a church that has the biblical theology and practice but then I look around and can't find it really. One part of me thinks [and hears others saying] I am being too fussy, but then the other part says after all I have been through with emotional and spiritual healing from the messed up church I grew up in, I can't afford to NOT be fussy. And so the search continues...I am not a Nazarene now days, although I attended Canadian Nazarene College at one point in my life, and held a student ministers license in the same church. More importantly I was saved in the Church of the Nazarene and much of her original teaching still remains my theology.
I have attended a lot of different denominations through the years as we have moved across Canada and back again, although I have not always been a member of a church. In reality church member has little to do with the salvation of a man. Salvation is based solely on a heart relationship with Jesus Christ, and thus with the Father.
When I look for a church, I want one that preaches that Christ came into the world to save sinners little me and you. That He was crucified on the cross to pay for my sin, He shed His blood to pay for my sin. He rose from the dead on the third day and ascended into Heaven from which He will return one of these days to take His children home to glory. If that is not the message of the church then I might just as well stay home.
The chances of finding a church whose theology matches the scriptures seems to be getting less and less. We have the Anglican Church, and part of the Lutheran church drifting from Biblical doctrine to join the Roman Catholic Church. Many more groups which were Methodist Churches at one point are now at a state closer to atheist-ism than the holiness teaching that brought them into existence.
If we don't soon have a nationwide revival (renewal if you like) Christ's question "..... Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth" Luke 18:8 will be answered much to the shame of the Christian Church.
Church attendance is important, but what is being preached over the pulpit and where the congregation are living spiritual is more important than the sign hanging over the door.

Have you come back down to Earth now or are you still hyper-active Merry Maid Marie![]()
I was the hyper active Merry Maid last night but then at bedtime, my usual weekend panic attack/migraine had started in. Then this am during the EC service, it was going full strength. I spent the service giving God these wounds and beginning the healing process. Now, I am leaving for the Methodist service.
I chose Anglican/Episcopalian as well. Though it's not on the list... Lutheran Church (ELCA) would be # 2.
