You just peaked my curiosity. What are you referring to, Matrona?

You mean piqued, not "peaked". Last year, they seemed to not like it when people attempted to make a proper distinction between Orthodox and non-Chalcedonian viewpoints.

Oh I see. Well, you're right. That is certainly the tone they have set on the site.

Thanks to both of you for the grammar lesson. It's amazing how when one is typing how one's brain can lapse. I remember not too long ago attempting to write "one another", and instead wrote "one and other." Boy was my face red!

No kidding. One member actually made a rather galling remark about "Chalcedonian parishes" and "non-Chalcedonian parishes" in the "Orthodox Church".

I hate it when people ignore the decrees of the Ecumenical Councils and just pick and choose what to believe in. Orthodox should know at least the basics of the councils so they don't get caught up in ecumenical hippie love fervor.

"Oh, you don't believe in the truth of Christ's Person having two incarnate Natures and two Wills! That's okay, we'll just ignore that because your liturgy kinda looks like ours and you also label yourselves 'Orthodox'! And who really cares about these little theological distinctions, anyway? They're confusing and weird and we should all be one big happy family and just ignore truths that people used to get killed and tortured to preserve."

Hi Andrew - nice new name change!

We all make mistakes ... many times I have two left thumbs.

My college professors say that many students make the following grammatical error ...

I could of done it.

instead of

I could have done it.

And linguistically this occurs because in rapid speech we tend to slur the words into

I could've which sounds like I could of.

So, yes, on any wikis there will be errors in spelling, syntax and just plain two left thumbs.:D
