If you don't think that there will be a great tribulation in the future and wish to wager on it,

I am taking wagers here. This OP is NOT about whether there will be a great tribulation in the future. I'm assuming you don't think there is. This post focuses on wagering on what you believe.

Let proposition P1 = There will be a great tribulation in the future.
P2 = There will not be a great tribulation in the future.

Between 0 and 10, how much weight do you put on each of the above propositions? The stronger your belief in a proposition, the higher the weight. Your weighting scheme will determine the betting odds.

This is not a lotto or gambling bet. It is a wager to mathematically and scientifically measure the strength of your belief. Put money where your mouth is. If you are interested in mathematically finding out the strength of your belief, then tell me those two weights. See Subjective (Bayesian) Probability.

Oh for goodness sakes… @tonychanyt

Do over! I have to study out the tribulation matter again!

Answer erased. I got my terminology mixed up!

P1…. 10 on that bet!

I was dumb!

Though, I firmly believe the Body has to be raptured for it to go down. The chains can’t be present.

P1

It isn't a mathematical or scientific scenario ... it's what God says will happen ... and it will ... one either believes it or not based on what God says and the strength of what is believed should be based on that 100% on what He says.

I would not be so sure :)
I'm so sure that I can double down with evidence that is so literal that it binds to scripture like PB and J. :p

Not kidding. I couldn't sleep for a month when I came across a very specific matter that is growing as we speak. You could even say that Heads have been rolling just like scripture says, since 610 AD.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Say, Tony, can you think of any head removing factory that has been going strong for over 1000 years?

And now a reading from a "pleasant" book...

"So, when you meet (in fight Jihâd in Allâh's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islâm), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allâh to continue in carrying out Jihâd against the disbelievers till they embrace Islâm (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allâh's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allâh, He will never let their deeds be lost, Sura Muhammad 47:4 5"

How sure? Put a number on it.

P2 = There will not be a great tribulation in the future.

Not joking! I'm scripturally loaded like Rambo on this one.

After the resurrection, you will put out 10 units of your heavenly treasure to a money pool. I will put out 0 unit. We will ask God which proposition is closer to the truth. Winner takes all. Agree?

How can I bet what was never mine? Those Immortal souls up in Heaven, right now, have nothing to do with me. I was just an unworthy vessel fortunate enough to be used. :)

I can bet on this here and now.. and give you "told you so rights" in Heaven when we Ask Him... MUCH SOONER than you think. :p

I call.

I'm so sure on this one that an 80's montage starts playing with Eye of the Tiger as the background score, before I start typing about it. :tearsofjoy:
