I go to a Lutheran church in Sydney. I found some young-earth literature there a few years ago, and read it out of interest.

After I read it I took it to the pastor and showed him how it contained egregious errors, and asked did he want this available in the church. He didn't, and suggested I take it away, which I did.

Also, the new pastor is definitely a theistic evolutionist.

I've heard it preached (usually with resources or a guest speaker from AiG/Creation Ministries Australia) at two Brethren assemblies (one even had a snippet of "creation science" info in its weekly newsletter), a Baptist Church (which hosted a series of talks on YECism over a number of weeks) and a Presbyterian Church (which had an elder on staff at Creation Ministries); I have worsipped at each of these churches regularly at some point over the last 10 years.

Very easy to explain.

You know how each day in biblical creation is an addition and extra to the previous day?

Birds and fish were created on the fifth , while all land animals were created on sixth.
To me , that tells us that all land life is somewhat related to sea and birdlife.

Take a look at birds and reptiles.
They are very similar.

My theory is that dinosaurs came from mostly the dna of birds , while amphibians gained mostly fish dna.

Then the dna fusion of reptiles and amphibians were lizard like ,and walked on land on all fours .

Shelfish and flies produced insects and arachnids .
Insects had more fly than than shellfish traits.
Arachnids had more shellfish traits , than insect traits , therefore had 8 limbs instead of 6 or less.

If you test the relation of these different animals , you would find that my creationist scientific prediction is 100% true.

We don't have 97% chimp DNA.
We have 10% chimp dna , 10 percent reptile dna , 10% feline dna , etc.
Each more complex animal has a compilation of traits from other less complex animals.

Again , you would find this true if you looked at our dna.

It's no surprise that there are animals that seem human-like.

As far as I'm concerned , it's not only improbable for us to evolve from nothing , it's also impossible.
