I would make it eight and add "Apathy" as number one.
Though, apathy is sort of included in sloth, and is a direct byproduct of pride, I think it is the most dangerous, and most vile, of human vices and needs to be recognized as such.
To feel apathy is more damaging to one's own soul, even than hatred. If you feel hatred, you need to recognize the value of the person you hate. Nobody truly hates something that they don't think matters. Hatred is an affirmation of passion, and of humanity (not a good way of affirming it, mind you, but a way) We hate because we care.
Apathy is numbing--it means you do not care. Rape prevention classes tell women to well "fire" if they are attacked, because to save somebody from a fire makes you a hero, but people don't want to get involved if they hear "rape." It strips the person of some of the crucial aspects, not just of humanity (animals will generally protect their own) but of life and sentience.
