The Bible says '' If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, then I will hear from Heaven and will heal their land''. I ask that all of us be in prayer for this country and the direction it is heading in. Two years ago in September we were attacked and we pulled together as a nation. We also prayed together as a nation and now look around. We are letting homosexuals out of the closet and putting God in the closet. We are letting them remove the ten commandments because of what one group of people think. We as Christians need to pray for our fellow countrymen and seek Gods guidance. How soon we forget about God when not standing in the midst of tragedy. People our land needs healing, so we need to humble ourself and pray. We need to pray one for another and for individual needs also but we need to pray as a people and a nation. I'm tired of seeing women kissing women, and men with men, and drug addicts, and drunks. I'm tired of children being abused and killed, I'm tired of divorce and single parent families. I'm tired of churches being half empty, I'm tired of the language on T.V, and in our streets. I'm tired of war and killing, and of finger pointing and backbiting. Lets pray my brothers and sisters. Pray for a place like St Judes medical hospital where God still performs miracles daily. I just had to let go and this is a good place for it because prayer is the answer. Remember we can do all things the CHRIST, who strenghtens us. God Bless I'm tired of abortion also, and the treatment of our Christian brothers in sisters in other countries. Pray for them all.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
