CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I agree. I have many good male friends who always treat me with respect. And I've dated some fundamentally great guys- things didn't work out for whatever reason (usually b/c of their own silly hang-ups- usually based in immaturity), but I don't hate them or anything. I've definitely been burned by men, but I still don't hate them..... I would have missed out on a lot of GREAT friendships & I wouldn't have had the chance to be IN LOVE!

I love men! Okay well only in a simple way. Not all of us are bad people. I have a lot of friends that live a very respectful life and take care of the home front better than any one could imagine. But yes we usually act like three year olds and often are grumpy or dissatisfied for some really stupid reasons. I guess that is why God made women! To keep us in line, if it wasn't for my wonderful wife, I would be lost. She is the strongest person I have ever know, and everyday she shows me miracles. God has blessed me with a woman that I never could have imagined finding. So trust me, you meet the right guy and you will be the reason that keeps him from being a dog or just plain immature.

Krysstian... if your life would be better if you never met any man... then that includes Jesus, too. Which means you would have not had a better life. I can't relate to abuse of any kind, except spiritual, I'm not going to lie to you. But I know that my battle is not against the flesh of this world, but against a much greater (and yet not so great) Adversary. I could say I don't like girls. To tell you the truth, other than a few select female friends, I don't think about girls that often. Many, many girls have been nasty to me, a teacher, especially. That teacher flat-out told me they hated me. I could let these experiences make me hate girls. But why do it? Why hate the opposite gender? What's the point? So I can be gay? The fact is many guys have been nasty to me, too! I could hate them! Then what? I would marry an elephant? You can't wish you never met someone, you can only move on. I don't know what's happened to you, but you have to let go and give it to God.

yea okay...you know what I meant. So please don't treat me like I'm stupid. I did let go, I just said my life would of been better if men wouldn't invovled. Jesus Christ was a mortal man on earth before but He is not now. So I don't even include him to be a man because hes not a liar, a manipulator, or a deceiver. So I know my God didn't bless us with a mere man.
Its the truth and just because I express the truth don't mean I havent let go. I actually feel sorry for the men who did those things to me because they must of felt like crap to do it.

I didn't treat you like you were stupid, and I apologize if I came off that way. Krysstian, I have been in threads before with you, have I ever tried to attack you? I don't think I have. It's good that you have let it go, and that you are moving on. Have you forgiven those men?
