So i was born ago 10 years ago almost and there were moments when i was near God and moments when i retured to sin and again back. But like few years i feel a bit far from faith although i seek, but not same as before. There was a moment where i felt i destroyed my life and i noticed as i manifested this. Than somehow i saw about Law of Attraction and i though God showed me because of my bad thinking i came to that situation and manifested it, i was really sure he wanted me to know about this Law of attraction, but i noticed the more i read in to it i started making my faith weaker and at the end new age community is pushing in to meditation, yoga, communicating with spirits so called spirit guides which are really demons, but disguised as angels. So my question does it mean i am going the wrong direction from God if i was lead in to this deception ?

Maybe He allowed you to journey the wrong way for a bit to learn the deceit and be able to warn others. I would however still repent of leaving the good path. Remember He says "All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose...

If you are aware that you are going in the wrong direction, it is the Holy Spirit convicting you of sin.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 NKJV

"Jei išpažinsime savo nuodėmes, Jis yra ištikimas ir tiesiog atleidžia mums savo nuodėmes ir apvalo mus nuo visų neteisumo." 1 Jono 1:9

At first if felt that way as Holy Spirit is giving me warnings, but that community always finds a way to explain as its your mind is afraid of changes or something that why you feel negative.. But i think maybe God wanted maybe me to know about this sometimes he gives us to experience all kind of evil that we learn and warn others.. In the times we live there is many deceptions.

Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” —Luke 9:62

ovis,

It is one thing to enter New Age circles seeking the truth and another to know the truth and abandon it for New Age teachings. How is God edified by the shift?

Testimonies abound of many leaving and being delivered from New Age deception and finding their way to Christ. Why would He permit you to forsake what you knew to explore their beliefs? Everything God does has a purpose.

When you subscribe to teachings like The Law of Attraction or frequent psychics for assistance, you're trading God's will for your life for Satan's. You'll reap what you sow and open yourself to additional calamity.

I suggest you read The Screwtape Letters. It's the best defense against the lies you've absorbed and you'll see the deception up close. Then revisit this thread and the answer will be obvious.

Yours in His Service,

~Bella

I've never seen so many blatant deceptions as this time we are living in presently. We must contend in/for the faith. New Age is an easy thing to stroll into, it sounds like you have found the lies within it, so you turned back to your Christian walk. I'd say the Holy Spirit in this is showing you those lies and drawing you back home. Everything is good, you were forgiven at the cross, just confess it up showing you recognize the wrong in what you did and walk your corrected path. You followed the Spirits instructions. Now walk the straight but narrow path. Amen

FWIW, I've literally seen new age turn from seemingly "good stuff" to the manifestation of demons. Many churches today don't teach on literal demons, I'm here to say otherwise. You're doing good turning back, be careful to release all traces of that incorrect walk. Embrace Jesus Christ.

I never went in to meditation groups or any i mean about facebook group law of attraction. I couldn't even imagine what they are doing in real communities or gatherings. At first, i didn't see it as evil because it really seemed matched Christian beliefs and there were many christians i meet ,but sadly many started doing meditations and even energy healings and so on they even use verses from the bible which is more deceptive. I think it could be the new age in which Jesus spoke about that even the chosen can fall away or accept teachings from false teachers.

The Law of Attraction is promoted by Esther and Jerry Hicks. 'Abraham' is a channeled spirit who provides instruction and insight. It's a demonic deception and millions have swallowed it. You can read about him here.

It seems the law of attraction is that you can use negative or positive thoughts to attract either negative or positive things into your life. This is wrong if you mean you are your own god to decide what happens to you. Even so . . . in our prayer we are wise to think of and pray for what is good . . . good which God's word says is so good . . . not merely what we want for ourselves and people we like. The Bible does say to set our mind on things which are above > Colossians 3:1-4. But this does not mean we control those things, but we trust God to do what He pleases with us.

One time, I was a guest with someone who seemed to try to cast Jesus out of me. The person used psychics and conjuring. I left during the night, after that happened. The next day, they couldn't find me and they were very worried and upset and hunted for me. They did not conjure or call a psychic. They did not use positive thoughts to tell them I was fine and everything was ok. And one of them was a legally certified new age healer.

I asked one, later, why didn't you do your psychic thing and find out I was fine? The person said it wasn't important enough. But they were very upset about what was not important to them.

With Jesus, we can be personally guided all the time with "rest for your souls." (in Matthew 11:28-30). His personal guiding is reliable, but always about God's all-loving purpose. So, if we are trying to use God or thoughts to get what we want . . . this does not work for new age people or for anyone

You were led into it?
James 1:13-14 NKJV
[13] Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. [14] But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

Meditate on the Bible instead.

Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’

To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’—just as I have received authority from my Father. I will also give that one the morning star. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Revelation 2:24-29

Can I suggest it is needful to renounce shameful ways - that means to wilfully disown the spiritual powers that empower the deceit. 2 Cor 4:2 - renounce in the Greek means to 'declare against'. This important step is not a prayer to God but a declaration that breaks the legal hold of deceiving spirits that would otherwise remain.

Sure, what you're saying is taking it a notch above what I said is all. I based my reply in what from appearance sake seems he didn't practice anything. Course I could be wrong.

Find a church leader who is accustomed to dealing with such issues.

It is a matter of addressing the spiritual source - that is why you still have an attraction as you described.
