If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?

what means

Jesus told Peter that Peter would be martyred.

Peter points at John and says, "What bout this guy?"

Jesus says, "What if I want him to stay alive until I come back? What's it to you?"

Jesus is telling Peter that it's not his business what's going to happen to the rest, Jesus is telling Peter that would happen to Peter. The text clarifies that Jesus did not say that John would live forever.

"Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, 'If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?'" - John 21:23

what means
Peter, John and James were the senior apostles within the 12. Lord Jesus warned Peter that one day he would be taken captive and martyred. Perhaps because Peter and John were so close, he asked Lord Jesus what would happen to John. Effectively, Lord Jesus told Peter to mind his own business.

There is a useful spiritual principle here. Human nature can be jealous and covetous. Lord Jesus wants us to be content with His will for us. The most spiritual man I ever met had very little obvious success in his ministry. Yet he never complained. He ministered to a great many people over his lifetime but only a few responded. Perhaps some of those he helped will go on to greater things. He was resolute in just doing what he thought God wanted him to do and say. He did not compare himself to others. He had no selfish ambitions. He was a tremendous example and help to me.

An interesting aside, but while the Church possesses relics of all the other Apostles, just like the Virgin Mary the Church has no relics of St John the Evangelist.

Make of that what you will.

Also a lot of people thought St. John would not die until the Second Coming.

Yes, and this is what happens when we 'read into' (eisegesis instead of exegesis) the Holy Spirit's inspired words things that are not actually stated, but come from our own minds. We are warned about this:

"Now these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes; that in us ye might learn not to go beyond the things which are written; that no one of you be puffed up for the one against the other." (1Cor 4:6, ASV)

"eisegesis instead of exegesis'' is becoming a fallacy.
Elaborate on how or why you see the distinction between eisegesis and exegesis to be false. I am not getting your point.

Usually, the ones who claim that distinction, are the ones who use their own interpretation

Read the fiction book "the assignment"... It touches on this topic. It's purely fiction but it's still good read.

I am reading a fiction book, actually a series called the immortal files, called the 13th tribe and in it St. John is still alive. One scene the Apostle gives the guy a NT and tells the guy "read my book first" than it dawned on the guy that this was John the Apostle

I see. It is true none of us can divorce ourselves totally from being subjective to some degree. But there are some safeguards we can use. Study in hermeneutics helps. Perusing various commentaries helps to see various arguments made so we can evaluate the reasoning from Scripture. I personally find a textbook on interpretation quite helpful and my favorite is available to be studied online:
http://icotb.org/resources/PrinciplesofInterpretation.pdf

I also like to use a website with over 100 various commentaries for free:
Overview - Bible Commentaries - Read and study from over 110 commentaries for FREE!

There are various textbooks of Systematic Theology available online also. I know I'd be mighty poor trying to go totally independent and freelance with God's word.

I see plenty of evidence of what is known as the Dunning–Kruger effect on CF. I first came across this in reference to flat-earthers, but it is alive and well among many of our brethren.
