So you basically believe you can sin and still be saved because we are all sinners. Oh, and I am not saying that believers will always remain in grievous sin in this life, but if they want to see eternal life, they will overcome their grievous sin at some point. Of course even the most holy men of God have sinned in the their past life. But in your view, everyone is a sinner in the present tense. You misinterpret 1 John 1:8 to say that all sin 24/7. But 1 John 1:8 is a warning to the brethren of the false gnostic belief that sin was an illusion or non existent. Christian Scientists believe this way and OSAS folk partially believe this way. So 1 John 1:8 is a warning against what you believe. The true way to deal with sin is to confess it so as to be forgiven of it (1 John 1:9).

Again, you're the one taking these verses out of context and misinterpreting them. Your interpretation of "does righteousness" is wrong. Again we have to take these verses in the context that nobody is righteous. "there is none that doeth good, no, not one" Psalms 14:3 And the Apostle Paul quotes this in Romans 3:10 "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one." And in Ecclesiastes it says "There is not a just man upon earth that doeth good and sinneth not." Eccl. 7:20 Since nobody is righteous or just and everybody is a sinner, that means that nobody has the ability to "do righteousness" by keeping the commandments or the law. No matter how hard you try to be good you're still an unjust, unrighteous sinner undeserving of God's heavenly perfection. So, to "do righteousness does not mean, "obey the law of Moses". Because righteousness does not come by obeying the Law. "If righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." Galatians 2:21 "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness for everyone that believeth." Romans 10:4. So, the right interpretation of "doing righteousness" is to believe in Jesus, not obeying the law. Everybody who believes in Jesus has done righteousness by believing in Jesus, because Jesus makes us righteous by forgiving our sins. You don't seem to agree with the act of forgiveness. You seem to think that forgiving people for their sins is the same as condoning sinful behavior. So Jesus takes away our sins, not by us obeying the law, but because we have accepted Him and His atonement and forgiveness for our sins That's what the scripture says, so stop trying to interpret it any other way.
