Good afternoon friends

I find myself in a rather awkward position here in the SDA forum. A couple of weeks ago I was assigned to help my friend jtbdad moderate this forum. I have spent the last couple of weeks reading posts here, asking a few questions and doing some outside reading to gain some understanding before I tried to interact and moderate.

Now, with the changing dynamic here at CF, you will be selecting your own moderators. Obviously there are many more qualified to moderate here at SDA than I, and I know you will make wise choices.

In the mean time, if there is anything I can do to ease the transition, or just help out in any way, do not hesitate to send me a PM. I will do my best.

I almost think that having people that aren't on one position or the other on traditional vs historic vs progessive vs evangelical would be a good thing.

I don't think the skie is falling, I have, however, been a member of forums for 10 years. And I have seen that for sensitive areas of discussion (like religion) that moderators are needed. And I have never seen moderators selected by popular vote doing a good job (I have seen them do an OK job, but where no serious discussion takes place).
