• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I don’t think I’m a normal person. I have social problems, I don’t love people, I don’t be attracted to people, I don’t have happiness.
I do social, psychopath, sociopath, depression and autism tests online to check what is wrong with me because I don’t know at all.
Or is there in fact nothing wrong with me and is going to the doctor to get worldly labels attached to me a dangerous and bad thing? Would I be better off just not knowing and feeling different?

You kind of need to make a choice.

If someone makes it for you, you kind of lose the ability to make it yourself.

This is kind of an important matter, and may influence how sanctification works in your life in the future.

I'd recommend to pray for guidance so you know what you need to do.

On one hand the bible talks about turning your weaknesses into God's strength by Him being that strength through you. At the same time, the previous sentence is a brutal path that many people don't see the end of, so you may wish to take another path which is not a bad thing - if something is too much for you, recognizing that is humility and this is a Godly trait also.

You may need to be kind to people who persecute you like Jesus taught.

Matthew 5 (World English Bible)
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor Leviticus 19:18 and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same? 47 If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

If you are a UK citizen the NHS is free, so stop playing the hypercondriac and make an appointment with your doctor.
Otherwise arrange to talk with your minister.

You cannot self diagnosis any condition, in fact trying these test will aid it harder for your doctor to try to diagnose any condition you have, because of your familiarity with what is in the test.

If you won't see a doctor about a condition you are not acting responcibile, so it follows you are playing at being ill.
Again if you are a UK citizen then the NHS is free.

I would see if the NHS over there can send you to a psychologist or psychiatrist as it is quite possible that you could be made more "normal" in that something may have happened in your childhood that has caused you to withdraw unto yourself to protect from conceived harm that to you manifests into "not caring" enough as it seems like you want to care about others but for reasons you cannot understand.... you can't.

It might be good to get checked over by a good physician, Andrew ---either an Internal medicine specialist or a Psychiatrist, but I also highly recommend you invite the Lord Jesus into your heart as your best Friend on earth, as well as your only Savior for your soul for eternity. He cares more than anyone else, and He can give you the "peace that passeth all understanding". Have you read John 3; John 14 in your Bible? God has a good message for us there in His "...beloved Son" ---Jesus, the Christ of God. He loves all souls, and you might learn to love Him too. Look up always, friend, and read your Bible (in the New Testament) daily.
