This is the standard we have so far, from the temporary rules:


Traditional SDA Sub-forum: a non-debate sub-forum for Adventists who believe in all 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Progressive SDA Sub-forum: a non-debate sub-forum for Evangelical/Progressive/Liberal Adventists, defined here as those who do not fully agree with all 28 Fundamentals.


Is that the way we want to keep it?

I think it's fine. Although, some seem to think they can violate the set out distictions with impunity, claiming they 'hate labels'. Well, if the criteria is what is spelled out above, then let's stick to it.

Since some TSDA's are even opposed to us using the SDA title and call us 'offshoots', it is clear they give no regard whatsoever to these distinctions anyhow. We aren't even Adventists to them.

I have no idea what people are wanting, is this for a complete new forum? Is it for Traditional SDA or Progressive SDA's. Why does anyone think this will stop any of the controversy between the different views? Will there be some method of restricting the interaction between all Progressive and Traditionals?

It is silly to be voting upon something that no one really has any concept of what the votes are really for. Of course logic would say if you don't know what you are voting for, and you have to vote you should vote against it, at least that you you won't end up in a worse position.

We all have our hang-ups, but some are much better at being mean than others are.

Actually, some of us just react in a mean way because emotions get the best of us, while there are others that look for opportunities to stir up such emotions via the senti experience

And NO I am NOT even talking just about stuff involving me personally, but from what I've observed. You seem utterly blind to how your words GRIEVE the heart of God by grieving your fellow man. Yes the heart of God is grieved; I can FEEL it in the Spirit.

Many on the 'traditional' side don't beleive all 28 fundamental beleifs.

Conklin, maybe you didn't see it when I answered this the first time: I didn't come up with these labels. They were here when I got to this forum.

If you have better designations to use to signify those who are traditionalist and those who are non-traditionalist, let's hear them. Otherwise, it is the only way we can know who and what is under discussion.

It would seem you don't comprehend what being the Habitation is about. And that's THE Habitation, not "an" habitation.
