  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Gaza hospital attack: Analysis contradicts Israel's evidence justifying airstrike

Israel said it was targeting a Hamas "command and control centre" buried beneath the hospital, and published a video taken from an aerial surveillance aircraft.
Hmm we've heard that one before. Still people will believe what they want to believe.

In the footage, a building is highlighted and marked as "European Hospital".
However, Sky News has confirmed that the footage does not in fact show the European Hospital, but the adjacent school, Jenin Secondary School for Boys.
Though "adjacent" means hundreds of yards away.

"That does look quite obviously to be a drainage ditch with dendritic flow patterns of water heading into the ditch," said Corey Scher, an expert in the use of satellite imagery to assess military and environmental damage at Oregon State University.

"The same drainage patterns are readily visible in [earlier] imagery. These appear to be ditches draining water."

That is the Hamas controlled Oregon State University of course. Anyway at least this wasn't hit by a misfired Palestinian rocket. This was the last place left offering treatment for cancer and heart disease in Gaza.

In other news: https://edition.cnn.com/2025/05/13/middleeast/israel-gaza-starvation-report-intl-hnk
One in five people in the Gaza Strip are facing starvation as the entire territory edges closer to famine, a new United Nations-backed report warns, after nearly three months of Israel’s blockade of critically needed humanitarian aid.
But don't let that put you off your evening meal tonight.

What seems to be going on here is that the IDF identify places which have markings which can be spun as yet another Hamas underground HQ and then bomb it. Guess the school will be next.

Mr Diversion Dany Danon puts out the usual blame Hamas for everything and blusters unconvincingly about the mass starvation and the false narrative about bombing the hospital
but doesn't fool the people commenting on this video. This not a war it's a slaughter.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi: Hamas Is An Idea And Ideas Do Not Die
Responding to Israel's statements that the war in Gaza is meant to eliminate Hamas, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi said, at a November 8, 2023 conference organized by the Amman municipality, that "Hamas is an idea and ideas do not die." He added that, without addressing the Palestinians' rights and establishing a Palestinian state, security and stability will never be achieved, and war will break out "every five or six years." He also stated that Jordan is working to refute the Israeli narrative about the war.
The idea being that Palestinians want to return to the land from which they were violently ejected 77 years ago.
Happy Nakba day from Israel to Gaza: a birthday present they could do without.
