Identify this Painting

I'm in no way trying to promote the following book, since I have not read it, or anything else by the author, but does anybody know who painted the image of Christ which appears on the cover of Christianity: The First Three Thousand Years by Diarmaid Macculloch? I can't post a link or picture of it because I have less than fifty posts, but you could see a picture of it by searching Amazon or Google Images.

Sadly I havent been able to pull up much through Google search.

Here is some of the book free as a preview from Google books and didnt see it in the credits (although they say they list illustration credits on another page, not shown.) A pretty good book can be read for free from the publisher promotion

If you can't find the answer here, I would suggest posting this question at Amazon or somewhere where there's a lot of reviews on it and see if you get a response.
