Ideas for Camp

Hi, I am going to be the camp nurse for my church's summer camp again this summer. I wanted to do some edifying "pranks" - do any of you have any ideas? The ages are 4-8th grade, boys and girls.

Here are some examples I came up with:

Hide a couple of battery powered alarm clocks to go off at odd hours during the night, included would be a note saying "Early in the morning I will praise Thee"

Another one would be placing a small inflatable kiddie pool in the middle of the cabin, fill with some water, fish and toy fishing gear and a sign saying "Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men" (I already have this one worked out with the counselor)

Any other creative ideas?

Edifying pranks? Oh man. I'm out. My pranks consist of stomping on the roof at 3am and other related demented scare tactics.

I can think of a better verse to go with the alarm clocks. IMO, disturbing someone's sleep is just plain mean...

Oh wow a nurse with an actual sense of humor??? That's new to me! I'm going for my LVN and right now I'm taking Anatomy, Nutrition, and Pharmacology Math! But that would be mean to wake people up at 3 am! LOL that's why I like that one!

Yes, nurses do have a sense of humor - actually we are quite warped! And remember guys - this is summer camp. Think week long slumber party - no one sleeps!

I actually did the alarm clock thing last year but without the note - and the kids are expecting it this year - it's all I hear about when I run into one of them. They LOVED it!

I just want to do things that are creative - not the typical toothpaste on the doorknob, seran wrap on the toilet seat, kool aid in the shower head type of things....

I was the camp videographer at a Christian camp last summer and lived with the nurse. Man it was a good time! But please, do get some sleep! Have pity on the counselors

We weren't allowed to do pranks at camp (so i have very few suggestions), but what if you sent them on an... edifying scavenger hunt? *shrug*
Water fights are ALWAYS good.

Humm someone mentioned it earlier... but comming from someone who works at a summer camp... (again this year too)
PLEASE Dont do the alarm clock one... sleep is so needed for the kids and the counselors its not even funny.
Once the kids wake up...(specially the lower grades like 4&5) they are sitll young enough to get home sickness... and thatw ouldnt be a good idea. I know I would be furious if someone did that to my cabin in the middle of the night... and once those kids are up... I can assure you the counselors wont be back to sleep until they know all the kids are settled down.

So please please fromt ehbottom of my heat.. DO NOT do anything to wake them up
