Hey all! I have a great idea!

Instead of us all getting our feathers ruffled over this reoccuring troll (yes, I got sucked into it again.... ) .........

Let's all just agree with whatever he says(in whatever name he keeps changing into) so he won't have any reason to argue.

It'll be much simpler than trying to talk sense into someone who so obviously hates our doctrine(and dare I say us also) so much.

How about skipping over the trolling and trying to get to the heart of the matter -- find the hurts and pray for healing. It's more honest, I think.

I've been praying for him since the first name....

I'm just not sure how else to get him to quit posting in here.....

I think for the most part we have given him lots of chances to do things right.

I think ignoring him, when he is ugly or distorting what we believe , which is almost everyone of his posts, we should ignor them and all report them.

nah, i've seen much more fierce trolls, he's pretty tame. *sigh* but you are prolly right, though it will be hard, i'll try hard to ignore him. (did anyone check GA or armin forums to see if he has been sent here on a seekrit mission to give us all a good laugh?)

Mods are pretty busy, RNmomof7 is dandy, why clog her PM box? I think i won't report anything, cuz nothing he said has been virulently evil; just ignorant & a gross characature of Calvinism, which is no threat ta me.

The fact does remain that he does break the same forum rules that we have all agreed to. If we want our forum to remain an oasis to us and to those who truly want to understand our joy, we need to defend that oasis in the best way we can. I'm with Kenith.

My 2 cents.

Reformed people have no one to fear and have no need for moderators to keep people from attacking or slandering us. It comes with the territory. I say, let trolls or whoever continue to do what they do. We are Reformed. We have the Scriptures.

Well, from the looks of the suddenly missing topics on Ask a Calvinist and here in Semper, it seems as if the newest "incarnation" has been banned, once again.

I hereby declare that the next time he shows his face, I shall emmediately put him on ignore so I don't even have to deal with it.

I get where you are coming from, but there are exceptions, like this guy, I think, who just enjoys baiting us. It's one thing to put up with and expect slander or attacks against our doctrine--it's another to deal with a guy like this who doesn't even pretend to "debate".

I tried being nice to the guy and deal seriously with him. That is not what he wanted. So I will follow Imblessed's lead.

What IF In Reality I actually agree with the teachings of John Calvin?

What IF I am, in fact a Teacher in My home Church, Teaching a NEW Converts Class, and EVERYTHING THAT I have done is a CLASS experiment to reveal to my students the emotional dangers of Internet Christian forums?

I cut and pasted ALL of your responses to my comments, and ALL of my own comments, into my works word processor program, then I printed them to show to my class!

The most dangerous activity for a new Christian convert is taking part in Christian discussions, on internet Christian forums, when you have absolutely NO Foundation of Biblical knowledge, I proved that very adequately!

You all got to a point where some of you ALMOST began to despise me.

Hey, everyone, I did go a little overboard, SORRY bout dat, cry: Fergive me?) BUT sometimes to get the full effect, you have to do what you have to do, anyways, for the most part, I agree with John Calvins teachings, I am still Pentecostal though.

What an experiment. Tell your students that scamming other Christians is evil and a grave sin, for which there may not be forgiveness .
