Name: Ialdus
Age: N/A
Old Race: Jilantrod
Current Race: Kilth
Appearance: Black and purple body suit, with a black and purple helmet covering his head and a thin green visor with which to see out of.

Powers: Teleport via portals into the Dimension of Darkness; the ability to levitate indefinitely; the ability to cause black tentacles and vines to grow and extend from any form of Darkness; the ability to infect beings by touching them (the Dark Mark); the ability to infect worlds by his mere presence; the power to control shadows and therefore create illusions from them; the ability to summon other Kilth and various creatures from the Dimension of Darkness.
Origin:
Called the Herald, Ialdus controls the Dimension of Darkness, which follows him wherever he goes.
Ialdus was once a being from a race called the Jilantrod, but his experiments led to an accidental entry into the Dimension of Darkness (a twisted universe not capable of life, and devoid of all light), and his being transformed into a Kilth. When he exited this dimension, he found that he was stronger, more enduring, incredibly fast, and able to do many acrobatic feats, but the downside was that he became increasingly aggressive and violent.
When he becomes angry, he explodes into a primal but intelligent form. This is his true form, called Void by Aorian scientists. In this form, all of his powers and abilities are largely amplified, and he is capable of sapping the life out of beings by getting in close range. Ialdus, in the Void form, has a final, last-option attack in which he uses his own body as a portal between the universe and the Dimension of Darkness, and corrupts the world he is currently on in little or no time at all. He only uses this when defeated in battle, or when failure is imminent.
Before long it was discovered that an element not found in the Balanced Dimension (the dimension of both dark and light), called Kihh, infects anything and everything that it comes into contact with. This element is found throughout the entire Dimension of Darkness, some scientists believe that it is in the entire environment. Thus, exploration of the Dimension of Darkness is not possible by an uninfected being. Ialdus had come into contact with this element, and the effects turned out to be fatal; Ialdus was found dead within a day of his return.
Ialdus’ body, however, was missing within hours, and later he appeared to his entire home-world of Aorian via the Network. Believing him to be a threat, the Governmental Corporation (the governing body of Aorian) sent their top warrior, Onesis, to defeat Ialdus. This warrior lost contact after his encounter with Ialdus.
Soon after, Ialdus infected a large portion of Aorian, killing millions.
In an attempt to counter Ialdus, scientists attempted to gain access to Dimension of Light, but their experiments failed. Ialdus then proceeded to corrupt the the rest of Aorian.
With all hope seemingly lost, Onesis resurfaced and gained access to the Dimension of Light, and, emerging with its power, defeated Ialdus in combat. Ialdus fled the planet through a portal to the Dimension of Darkness, but not before leaving his mark by infecting the rest of the planet. Onesis used the last of his strength to restore the planet, thus taking the power of Light from him.
Ialdus again appeared to his home-world via the Network, and vowed to return and completely eradicate all life there. He spends his days traveling between different worlds and shrouding them into Darkness by his prolonged presence.
