I wrote this in 1983

A moment of silence, in the remembrance of your love,
Today you are not with us, but in your heavenly home above.
Missed by friends and neighbors, who seen you last that night,
The blessed hope of relatives who wait to reunite.
We are thinking of you, in a special way,
We really miss and love you, here on your birthday.

My grandfather asked me to write something to ease the pain when my grandmother died.
