You are 100% wrong. Science is all about having a LONG life. I am testimony to that. If it were NOT for science I would NOT be alive and we would NOT be having this conversation.

The question is DOES science give us a LONG life or does following the law and the commandments of God give us a long healthy life. I am told hell is reserved for people who do not want to follow the law and commandments of God. There can be a lot of pain and sufferings in this life. Does science offer us all we need. Do they have every answer and every solution to whatever we encounter in life. OR do we need to trust and believe in God?

Do people really reject God or do they reject living right? Because science goes a LONG way to teach us how to live right and a good, healthy lifestyle. People say we are not under the law, we can eat what we want. Science says eat right or you will get sick and end up with heart disease or diabetes or a lot of diseases based on our diet. By science I mean the Ornish diet is designed to give us a long life free from sickness and disease.

Do we need science? Yes. Do we need the Bible? Yes, we need both to prosper.

David is said to live 70 years, which is not much from the modern point of view. But it may be a symbolic number representing "fullness" so we might not know his real life span.

Solomon is said to live 94 years, which is a good age even from our modern point of view, however, there are no scientific details of for example his nutrition. Just "being a Christian" does not guarantee a long physical life, many Christian die young, in accidents and similar.

Yeah, but like all diets it’s perfect and like all firsts it has nothing to do with the Bible.

You can be perfectly healthy without the Bible. Indeed America with it’s outlier high levels of Christianity seems to have a lower average age of death than the other developed nations.

So it seems taking the Bible away actually improves lifespan.

Many people have tried to use science to show us the Bible is not accurate and true and they have ALL failed. Science shows us how accurate and true the Bible is. In this case Science AND the Bible tell us how to be healthy and live a long life. Again maybe I should have put ORNISH in the title so you know what I am talking about.

Do you realize the Bible says that Elis sons were evil and wicked because they ate fat? Their actions violated God’s laws and they violated science that tries to show us HOW to avoid heart disease.

• Eli’s sons served as priests, but they lacked reverence for the Lord. When people offered sacrifices, the priest’s servant would insert a three-pronged fork into the boiling pot and take whatever it brought up. They did this even before the fat was burned off, contrary to God’s instructions12.

Science, IE Dr Ornish has done studies and shows us how true the Bible is. So if we do not follow our Bible to eat right there is a price to pay for that. They just went in and checked me. No stents, no ballons so I am clear. They were surprised because they put a stent in my 20 years ago. But now I follow my Bible to try to eat right.

Saying that Eli's sons had disrespect for the priestly customs of the Jews and thus disrespect for God as a diet thing is truly bizarre and one of the weirdest readings of the Bible I've ever seen.
