  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was normal once, I didn’t like it.

You see, normal Christians are the ones who go to church and are allowed to sit and sing and give money; and that is all that they are allowed to do. A very small percent of the people has a ministry to do in the church; pastor, teacher, etc, etc. So, year in and year out they sit, sing, and give money.

The people who do the things in the church are mostly the out-going personally people. If you are a quiet type of a person; your lot is with the sit, sing, and give money bunch.

Even if you do something in the church it is only for an hour or so per week. A teacher might get to teach for 45 min. per week and that is it; and the rest of the people look up to these peoples for what great work that they are doing. A few hours per week! I know that it takes time to prepare, but that is done at home or in an office is you are the pastor.

The normal Christian is a complete waste when it comes to doing things for God; they have been taught well that their job is to sit, sing, and give money. That is all that is expected of them. Show up and be a normal Christian; sit, sing, and give money.

You see, I was once a normal Christian and I didn’t like it at all. This was during my high school years. Sooooooooooooooo I got up out on my pew and went to work in the world to minister. Wherever I go and to whom ever I meet. Wherever I place my feet is where I minister. Praying for people who need prayer is very easy; everybody need prayer. You hear someone complain about anything and it is an open door to ask them if you could pray for them. They will say yes, because they think that you will do this at your home for them; but as soon as they say yes you lay your hand on them and pray. The tears will flow and you will have ministered to one who needs God. After you pray for them it is easy to talk to them about salvation.

My life has been full of ministry working in the world where the sinners are. Everyday and every where! I love to have a telemarketer to call me; for me it is time to pray for someone. They always say yes and again you get to minister to someone and this time on someone else’s dime.

Go to God and ask Him to help you be a minister to the world. It is easy and fun. Each person will do this in a different way and that is the way it is suppose to be. I am telling you that you as a believer are fully equipped (you have Jesus in you) to minister to any one that needs help. What ever is needed will be supplied by Jesus. At that moment in time; you are God’s servant doing real ministry; the realest ministry that there is. This is the type of ministry that Jesus did. Once you start this, you will be busy the rest of your life ministering to the world. You will be fulfilling the great commandment that Jesus gave us to go into all of the world.
