Joe has done an OK job, muddling through.

Perhaps he's too careful sometimes not to stray too far off center. His age is showing sometimes. But also we've seen him handle some unscripted events pretty well. No important difference from his competition there. But how we got to just these two is pretty disappointing.

We also need to remember: its not a one man show, as Americans like to think. Congress is stymied by absurd Trump loyalty tests. Scotus is dragged down by various justices' corruption.

For a some context/comparison, look at the long list of fairly serious conservatives who left the Trump admin with scathing criticism of Donald's character and commitment to the constitution.

Joe has been excellent. Not only did he stop the backsliding of America under the previous guy, he beefed up our justice department and crime has been decreasing. And criminal politicians are being charged and convicted like the world has never seen before! Enjoy your time abroad. It seems to be eye opening for you .

You are the closest - I am in a country where the only English speaking channels at the BBC and CNN (gag, wretch), I listened to Joe at the D-Day address.

I don't have cable TV - because I don't believe in paying for what should be free - so I don't get a steady anything from cable tv. I do however do a lot of reading - which I read from both sides - even (gag, wretch) CNN the propaganda channel.

He was not as weak and feckless as he usually appears to be. He actually was good.

I do admit he has way more cringe moments than I'd like. But Ive also heard plenty of perfectly acceptable speaking moments, both scripted and unscripted. Somehow you missed those, so when one sneaks though your filter..... youre surprised.
