I was in a church chat room last Sunday to view their service and decided to ask for prayer that the Lord might grant me a job. In NM, a job you can live on is hard to come by (NM has been ans still is one of the poorest States in the Union) and especially since the market fell in '07'. Someone replied saying to prepare myself and to be to be willing to accept whatever job the Lord led me too.
Tuesday evening I went to Craigslist to get two job searches needed to make quota to receive my Unemployment check (due to run out in three weeks). I filled out an online application. Wednesday morning I was in an interview and Friday (this morning) I was offered a full time position !!!
God is just as good when you are three weeks away from becoming homeless as He is if/when when He decides to grant you financial relief.
Being bipolar, my next employment need is to be given the self-control and constancy day to day week after week, to keep this job. I love how the Lord gives us incentives to pray both for others and ourselves and it came to mind how Paul the apostle had said he glories in his infirmities, that the Spirit of God may rest upon him.
