I think its about time...

I am so nesting, I just know it.

I worked all day to clean the messiest room in the whole house, and then I picked up the bathroom and the kitchen, and all night long, I havent been able to sit still.

My hubby kept telling me to sit down and relax, but I can't. I keep getting up to clean stuff, I am reorganizing things I already cleaned today.

Plus I have been having a lot of lower back pain today, and some contractions (dont know if they are bh or real) but they are pretty mild. And now they are none existant.

But I am getting excited, I am thinking (and praying) this baby will come on his own this weekend.

But I wish I knew for sure that I was in labor, even if its just early labor, I just want to get going with this.

Any one with any experience want to clue me in?? I am so clueless.

Aww I'll keep you in prayer through out the night. I can't wait for Lucas to join us in this world YAY!! BABIES!?!?! Try to rest though... you'll need it for the labor part. I know you can do it though Hun

Hey, Nic! Awwww! Nesting is a sure sign! I remember cleaning the grout in my bathroom at 3am with a toothbrush the night before I went into labor with my first.

Do rest! I mean it! You'll recognize real labor as hard, burning, intestinal cramps. Seriously. That's what it will feel like...like you HAVE to go to the bathroom. And you will. Although, the back pain you are describing could very well be early labor and probably have commenced the dilation and effacement.


Either way...REST! Labor is going to wear you out and you need to save your energy. Try anyway.

It sounds good hon, quick get you and hubby on a nice date doing all the things that aren't easy to do with a baby.... go to a movie, and a leisurely eating out..... Drink plenty of water, and its best to stay out of the hospital as long as you can because sometimes labor will disappear if you get there too soon, something about the stress

Thanks for the advice ladies! I dont think hubby and i will be able to go and do much, since he works at 9 tomorrow morning, and is snoring a few feet away from me.

I will keep you all up to date as this progresses.

Alright, I just woke up, my lower back hurts again, but other than that, i am just tired. i was up a lot last night.
I think I might have drank too much water yesterday!

Praying he decides to keep this track up and start to progress today, It would be great for him to come out today or tomorrow on his own.

So, if I was in labor yesterday, and I am following my mom's labor with me, I should go into active labor later today or first thing tomorrow. (she was in early labor with me for two days before I was born, because my grandpa was gone, and I waited for him, and my dad is gone until tomorrow, so maybe this baby is following by example??)

Nic...try not to concentrate too hard on the contractions. LOL...I swear...when I was in labor with Mallory...every time I would stop and rest and time them...the contractions would stop! And when I stopped thinking about it and just watched TV or something, they'd start back up! She's a contradictory kid anyway.

That is what mine are being like.

We are going out to dinner with some friends and Dennis' parents, eventhough I was going to make a nice dinner. So I am going to make the nice dinner tomorrow as long as I dont go into labor, but I am hoping I do.

Hi ladies! No baby yet. I have been on pitocin since 6:45 this morning. It's 2:37pm now.

Only at 1 cm.

So they are talking about talking me off for the night and starting again tomorrow. I am starving.

My mom and sister are here keeping me and dennis company.
