I am sarting at uni in two days and I am so nervous and excited and happy and sad all at the same time!!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

what you call college we call university (I think). Here university is where you do degrees and the likes and college is much more like school.Blake said:

I start in 2 weeks and a half. And There won't be a single person I'll know there. Actually, I don't even know if I'll go to University. I haven't even visited my University, even though it's 50 minutes ride by train from where I live.

I have been accepted to University! Now start new problems, getting signed up, seeing that their prossedures don't work so I have to go and sort these problems with them today...

I start uni on monday. I'm doing a degree in biochemistry, but I've decided that I don't really want to do it because I now hate chemistry, so I'm going to change to biological science, then on my second year I can do a more specialist course in genetics, zoology, etc.
I don't know anyone else who is doing the same degree as me
What is the work like? Is it really boring? What are the exams like? Are they ok if you work for them?
