Hi say Stupid things I really don’t mean to like the opposite of things like if I say I believe guess what I’m gonna say I like saying I’m a Christian there goes the opposite but sometimes it just happens out of nowhere so how to stop sometimes I think it’s me not OCD

Hello @Jesuslove70708, if you understand and are careful to follow all of the dictates (commands) that are found in this verse prior to speaking, then you will never again need to worry about what you say

Ephesians 4
29 Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification, according to the need of the moment, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Join the club ….many people do it.

Some to a greater degree than others …some do when nervous … or intense situations….sometimes it’s overthinking a convo and not putting the word in the correct order or using wrong words.

Many times, the brain is working faster than the mouth…. and the words get rearranged …Slow the mind down a bit get peaceful. And try not to be self-conscious …it makes it worse.

Me …I open my mouth and the words come out …then I kick myself later

Anti- believe stuff like for example what’s the opposite of a Christian I say that we’re a lot and I don’t mean to I don’t say it out loud by the way

A fool says everything on his mind and every emotion., just to say we can have self control and choose what we say if we think about it. On my second try of being a Christian I said I don’t have to talk so much because I’m always saying dumb stuff. So I didn’t and my mind slowed down because of God and Gods people and got together. I am talking a little more now, but I still take thoughts captive.
