My mom just got through talking to my Grandma's social worker .The SW asked if my mom had talked to a lawyer about having my Grandma's house signed over to my mom.My mom hasn't done that yet and the Sw replied"Oh No they'll(Med-Cal) take your houses!"Please pray that the LORD would give us favor in this matter so that we can keep the house.( My brother and I live in the house with my Grandma) .Pray that the LORD would give me and my family strength and wisdom to get through this .In Jesus Name Amen.

Important to get an elder lawyer as soon as possible. Sws are informed on the basics but the elder lawyer knows all the loopholes.

Father, there is a story in the O.T. that speaks of a widow in a similar situation. Though You may not provide for this Grandma exactly like the widow, You can, and I ask that You will provide the way for her and her grandchildren to be able to keep this house to live in. May this happen, and may they then continue to see the house as a gift from You. James 1:17.
