I have been thinking about this lately, about my last relationship,I know it's in the past and your supposed to let go of whatever happened in the past, but I can't stop thinking about it at times. He was the one that didn't trust me,but yet he was the one that cheated on me,I went on vacation, and I specifally told him that I was on vacation and where I was,he texted me while I was on vacation, asking me if I was with another guy, right after I got back to my house he broke up with me,how do you get your mind off of the past?

Really difficult i know. I was in a relationship and for the life of me i cannot stop thinking about her. About all the good times. Especially the 'intimate' times. Can drive me crazy at times. Thing is, if you still have strong feelings for that person, it makes it even harder to let go.

no he was not

Then you have to try your very best to move on.

With me, the person was very kind and loving. And, she is still around, so to speak. Its very difficult...

He was the one that didn't trust me,but yet he was the one that cheated on me,
So, he was a betrayer of love and trust. This can mean he did not know how to love, at all. And his evil betraying spirit could make him unable to trust you.

But you could make sure with God about who you share with and trust and how you trust. I think it is likely God would not have guided you to get with him.

And it may be he partly did not trust you because he knew he could fool you. This could show him he could not trust you to avoid being fooled by other people. This can be why some betrayers want to keep total control over their ones who are with them: because somehow they know that if they can fool them, also others can.

Of course, in my case, I might have people I know are betrayers, but I spend time with them in order to be a good example to them. But they might suppose they are fooling me into thinking they are something else, and so they think I need to be protected from others who would use me, too. But they keep finding they can't get me to go along with their control stuff and tricks. I guess that can be confusing to them.

There was a guy in our church who possibly was treating me in an abusive way. But he was a leader; so I went along with certain things. But there was an invisible line I would not cross. At times he would keep discovering how there were certain things he could not keep going; I might cooperate with him, but I would not continue certain things, as soon as he was not around. Plus, once I was simply mentioning how a certain leader was my role model, and he overheard me and I did not name him. That seemed to get his attention; I did not consciously do that in order to get to him. But it seemed he changed his manner after that.

But people can self-correct their act so they don't give away how they are deeply wrong, and so they can tell themselves they are changing; I know this, too. So . . . prayer with hope . . . Jesus suffered and died like He did on the cross, with hope for any person, at all. Love "hopes all things" (in 1 Corinthians 13:7).

I went on vacation, and I specifally told him that I was on vacation and where I was,he texted me while I was on vacation, asking me if I was with another guy, right after I got back to my house he broke up with me
My opinion, Sunny, is it is good to help each other to not be fooled by suspicion which is untrue. We do need each other. But in case he was incapable of being honest, he could easily fool himself like that. If we are about fooling others, who knows how we also are fooling our own selves?????

So, I would say all of us need to invest more in being able to make sure with God. I am sure any of us can still fool ourselves about something, and we could pray and submit to how God guides us in His peace so we are with Him and who He wants us to trust and share with. And this will be more and more people who help us find out how to love. We will not be isolated with just some one or a few people who use us while we try to use them for what we want.

He was the one that didn't trust me,but yet he was the one that cheated on me,
He was projecting his own bad behavior onto others, you included.

He cheats so he thinks everyone else does too.
