I made a scarf!!

Hi,
I knitted a nice scarf out of "fun fur" yarn. Very fun and it was easy because it was for my little girl so it was not very long.
Anyway, try it if you haven't.
I like to paint...landscapes, tole, on rocks everything I can get my hands on.
I like to sew...also.

Sounds fun. I am learning to knit so I may have to try that. I have 2 boys so I don't think they'd be thrilled, but I bet my niece would like it.

I'm learning to knit too. Those fun fur scarves are all the rage among the faculty at the school where I teach and everyones' making them...so I have jumped on the bandwagon. I'm still learning so it will be a while before I knit the first scarf.

I have made scarves, shawls, hats, vests, sweaters... yes, very fun to do those. Out of all of those the scarf is probably the easiest and best thing for learning knitting or crocheting.

i luv fun fur!!! i made a pancho and used fun fur for tassles..it gets so many comments that i now carry the simple pattern around with me. fun fur is beautiful stuff!! i too did a boa scarf with it.

My mom taught me to knitt when I was a little girl so I made lots of things but I have not tried any thing with fun fur. I will some time.

My mum taught me how to knit lat winter when i was sick. I never finished what was it was. In the beginning it was scarf, then a blanket for my cat and then it just became another thing that has no use

I used to love knitting! I completely forgot how to knit since I haven't done it in years, but I'd definately like to learn again. It's a great way to pass the time!

And congrats on making your scarf! All I could ever make was this really long..knitted rope. Lol.
