Yes, I just turned 41. What does that mean?

I find it somewhat depressing. I am not having the cliche midlife crisis.

It's just that I look at my past, time wasted, and then I look to my future...

What will happen when I'm 51? I am a bit scared to even think of that.

But, I try to set my focus on God as much as possible (Which is never often enough) and pray when I have the mindset to do so. Staying in HIS light is a safe place to stand!

I'm 47 and I have the perfect storm of faulty genetics which will lead to...well, lets just say I'm not saving for retirement. It has strengthened my faith. I'm no longer bitter about living and wasting away, I'm eager to live everlasting.

Midlife crisis? Absolutely, have fun with it but never forget there is something waiting for you when the train stops. This world is not our reward. This world is our test and when we leave it we claim our reward. Don't let it get to you.

Never ender hello,
Sorry for what you are going thru. Maybe this will help set aside sometime when you get up for spending time with the Lord I find this helps because I put God first and the day seems to just go better like a wieght lifte off my shoulders.Maybe it will help with what you are going through. Do not worry about the past only the present and that is a gift from God. Look maybe at thinks this way buy the time I hit 51 I want to accomplish this that and the other goals. Maybe a closer walk with the Lord.
Hope this helps. Hope you have a awsome day.

happy belated birthday!

i am 42 and i am doing a lot of repairing/healing from my past with the help of JESUS.

also i am doing a lot of reading on healing a broken heart, forgiving others, and battlefield of the mind.

i wasted years of my life being paralyzed from my past with resentment, bitterness, pity parties, and the list goes on and on, but now i want to be set free so that in my future i can be at peace.

I'm 47. When I was 46 I lost my oldest son. I thought it was the end of my life but God helped me through this terrible storm. What was amazing about this tragedy it's that it made me mature spiritually, faster than any other experience.

This life we live on earth, away from home, is our training camp where we are learning who He is and who we are in Him. The more we spend time with Him the more our eyes are opened to what really matters and what is the truth, the more we are blessed.

The enemy of our souls, the world and the flesh want us to keep our eyes riveted on ourselves which results only in making us miserable. Let's keep our eyes on Him so that we can have a fullfilled life and freely live the life God has meant for us to live from the beginning. We are meant to be so much more than what we think we are right now.

Neverender, you just reached 41. May you make a difference in this world and make every years of your life count, fighting with your King on your side.

I just turned 41 and I spend alot of time reflecting on my life and I apologize to God daily for wasting the last 24 / 25 years. I got far away from God and the church I had attended for 15 years and the people in the church that were a source of strength. I left all of that because I was 18 danggit and I knew what was best!!!
Fortunatly, God never left me. No matter what I did to cause God to give up on me He never did. I finally decided to start listening to the sweet voice of the Holy Spirit. I am growing a little bit each day.

I'm 45, and haven't found being in my 40's depressing, at least not yet. I am however dreading the day when I will never again be attractive to the opposite sex. It's not like I am constantly turning heads, or anything, and I'm already married, but somehow the thought of that happening depresses me.
