I was raised in the church, or dare I say churches. I was exposed to different churches and denominations along the way due to parental divorce, relocating, or witnessing practices in the church that was not as one would hope for or expect. I prayed "the prayer" at age 7 and was announced saved in a small Baptist church that eagerly accepted me as a new member. I attended Church services and functions and lived a life as a "Christian" but it was an empty existence and one without a real God in it. I went through the motions as one would expect, while doubts became increasingly unsilenced and unavoidable.
In 2008, I truly started to come to know God for the first time in my life, and knew instantly all the years before were lies. I live now for Him, and His Son, Jesus, and know that as each day that passes, I learn more and want to know more.
This is why I am here and why I am eager to interact with each of you.
